    Appcrash Kernelbase.dll

You know, english isn't my first language, so sorry if something seems to be really poorly written or difficult to understand. No, I always used the steam shortcut. I tried to use the .exe to run it as an administrator, I thought it was implied that I attempted opening the game through the .exe directly just as a test. Again, sorry for not being clear enough about that. I'll try my best to be clear so it becomes easier to understand for some people. I did tried to verify the cache, I also tried to reinstall the game after the verification didn't show anything. I actually said I reinstalled it, but then I should have made it more easy to understand for you. Do you know anything about kernelbase.dll related appcrash? (no I don't need to download it) Because looking it up, one of the solutions suggested by Microsoft customer support for a situation where the kernelbase.dll is the reason of a software not loading is to restore Windows to a previous state and I don't want to do that. Do you know anything about that type of Appcrash? Or even better, do you know anything?

Why Day Z is "Fundamentally Flawed"

So what you guys are saying is that you want a game where the only thing you have to do is to survive? No shooting each other, just survival in a very realistic way, with tying knots, butchering the meat you hunted, building fires, all in a realistic manner in the game? Maybe they should implement some of the Surgeon Simulator hand control technology in the game to help with that. It sure would make surviving by itself, a bit more challenging, if you had to pick a bullet and put it inside the chamber without dropping it. Now tell me, how exactly would that work... As in, you know, the game doesn't have an actual goal other than surviving. Now the way you accomplish that, what strategy you choose to be able to survive, that is up to you And some people will choose the strategy of killing other people as soon as they see them. "Turning the game into Call of Duty Z". Tell me how to prevent that without limiting the game's freedom? By having a community "without douches"? You guys should go play Call of Duty instead of DayZ. It seems like it's more important in your mind to avoid being like "COD" than anything else, so any situation where people pointlessly shooting each other, is being like "COD". So go play COD. It will be a therapeutical experience, you will be able to grow as a person and be able to play games without thinking about Call of Duty all the time.

    Appcrash Kernelbase.dll

I've been playing DayZ, that I have bought quite recently without any issues for over 30 hours of gameplay. Then I have spent a little while without playing it and when I decided to play again I received that "DayZ has stopped working" message and then I was never able to run it again. One detail is that I get one message of "Dayz has stopped working", then after I close it, a second message appears repeating the same thing. Name of the issue event APPCRASH and the name of the fail module KERNELBASE.DLL Now, when I try to run the game from the Steam folder, from the .EXE directly, it says that it "doesn't detect the Steam running" or something similar to that. But I don't think that's the issue, because after receiving this message, a get two messages of "Dayz stopped working", one after the other, being "Appcrash" the reason in both instances. Looking for a solution, I have read somewhere that it's possibly a conflict between another software running in the background and that I should try to open it in safe mode, which I still didn't do, will try it. Anyway, what could it be? Can someone please help? By the way, I have Arma III as well and I'm having the exact same issue with both games, though I have not reinstalled Arma III, just uninstalled it so far, because DayZ after the reinstall still didn't work.
