Nope, it's painful wearing it in rain but those extra slots are very handy! With 2 protector cases, it would give you 12 slots, compared to gorka/ttsko + protector case which is only 8.

Sounds like the Item deletion bug is still ingame! This video might help you how to arrange your inventory, so you dont loose items after relogs etc.

Many servers with Persistence ON in the name dont always tend to have it on. Best way, what me and my friends normally use is to find first an official server. We had best experience with them, can be any of the Vilayer Servers, european/american f.e Vilayer NL 3-53. Second step is to always check the serves persistence before you start stashing items/tents. If you carry rope and burlap sack with you, you can make a improvised backbag and leave it there with maybe a can inside. Or Protector Case, they dont disappear on servers with Persistence ON. Play on the server until the next server restart occur or wait 4-5 hours and then check back in. Most official Servers reset every 4 hours. Servertime restart would look something like 00:00, 04:00, 08:00, 12:00 etc. Never start packing up your stuff straight after the weekly maintenance/patch since there are still bugs, servers configurations gets changed etc. Always give it a couple of normal restarts. Also, from my personal experience, no Server is 100% safe, unless you know the person who is renting the server etc. Sometimes shit happens, some servers disappear etc. It's still in Alpha, have that always in your mind! Small Edit that I think I also have to post. The Example server I gave might not be a good idea to use currently. Me and a friend lost alot of nice items on one of the NL Vilayer servers this wednesday, after the maintenance. For some reason the server configuration had been reset/changed and turned persistence OFF on some of the NL servers. So, if you wanna be 100% sure, try the server out with one of the methods I included in this post.

The Persistence ON servers indeed to spawn crash sites with 0.53 but the loot respawns every time the server goes through hard reset I believe. Once per week on those official servers. From my experience, the soft resets, when servers go down for 2 minutes dont respawn the crash site loot on persistence enabled servers and seems that the same crash site is staying on same spot through soft resets till next hard reset. So most likely you were lucky, being the first guy there to loot it. Not 100% sure yet if the central economy will respawn or add items to the crash site yet, need more testing on that front. In other words, If you want to farm crash sites for the rare loot, you currently have to do it on persistence disabled servers since there the crash sites totally respawn, since every reset is counted as hard reset.
