Hey there, I have not played Dayz for a very long time and do not remember how to install files and play the mod. I installed Arma and ArmaOA. I then downloaded Dayz Commander. Then I verified intergrity on Arma's through steam under properties. I then ran both games, everything seemed fine. I go into Dayz Commander to install Dayz and everything is grayed out. Dayz Commander does not recognize that I have verified the Arma's already. When I verify the Arma's through Dayz Commander, nothing happens. It continues to say verify Arma and ArmaOA. Anyone know how to fix this? Thanks for the help, greatly appreciated.

I can not even join a server without Battleye initialization failed messages popping up. I miss Dayz

There are a few but unfortunately they do not have a big population and get a lot of hate from people as seen above.

What a dumb thing to say. Of course there are people who think there should be PvE only servers. If the environment was more harsh and nature really played a part in survival I would 100% agree with you, but sadly this game is built around PvP...not even PvZ.

Every time I try to join a server either through steam or Dayz Commander I get an error saying BattlEye Initialization failed. I have updated each of my Battleye folders through the Battleye website and verified the integrity of my game cache. I have also searched similar problems on this website and none of which have helped me out. Any suggestions?

Make sure you have all 3 1/3 walls in your inventory at the same time. Make sure you are very close to your workbench. When you right click you should have the option pop up.

I just do not understand why it keeps reporting that my files are not found. They are clearly- 110% in the correct place. I guess I will look around for other, hopefully better tutorials.

Hmm...I do not have it in my server_functions.sqf either. Notepad++ is not able to find it anywhere... I have also edited and changed out the dayz_server.pbo several times according to the video tutorial I am following.

@Golly, I get past the server authentication, but then it goes to the Dayz Epoch screen and counts to 120 before disconnecting me. So I am hosting my first Epoch server from my house so I can mess around for a bit but have come across a problem. I have the server up and running, but then installed admin tools and now when I go to join the server all is good until I hit the Dayz Epoch screen and it never loads. It counts to 120 and then forces me to disconnect from the server. Any idea of why this is? Any feedback is greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Yes I am able to join every other server, just not my own. i can join the server, but it times out after 120 seconds and I have to disconnect. I don't understand how the server is showing up in-game on MP and Dayz Commander, but at the same time the server is down. Could you please explain it to me? Edit: Occasionally the ping turns green to 1 or 2 but then right back to 0. Could this problem simply be my internet connection?

Hey everyone, When I go to join my server on Dayz Commander, the ping is 0 and the color red. The player count is grey. I have tried to find similar problems and have not come across the problem I am having. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I like to use Dayz Commander. Opposed to running Arma and going to the MP server list. Dayz Commander also helps you install and update the different files and mods needed to see and join servers.

I was able to create the server and join it with decent fps. Then I went to install Admin tools using this video, where I followed step my step exactly what he did. But, on DayzCommander, my server doesn't have a ping. The player count is grey and the ping is a red 0. Now I cannot join the server I created - I time out and have to disconnect. I have never hosted before or modified any game or files so I have no knowledge other than what I have "learned" from Youtube videos. Any help is greatly appreciated.
