Maybe part of changes to encourage group play? If the zombies keep getting smarter than people may be too busy saving their own butts to shoot others. I don't know. I don't think it's too terrible. it is noticeable though.

I enjoy the changes, but I'm too shy to have an image signature if no one else does yet. I don't want to be the first obnoxious person :3

The hitboxes for interacting with the barbed wire are obscenely small. I tend to find them at the middle post, in first person of course, and moving towards it, into the fencing. Then I'm frantically rolling my scroll wheel looking for that "remove" to hit it before it disappears.

The d/c guy would just go to another server and take his chances with beach snipers. That's what I would do anyway. Even if I spawn on the beach, I successfully avoided that combat and live another day.

I only wish they didn't have a babysitter in their videos and took the time to learn to play the game.

That sounds weird. Maybe include the server names and put it in the bug forums.

Some servers, from my experience, seem to have poorer FPS than others. I don't know why that is or why it happens. Have you tried other servers? Your system looks almost the same as mine and I'm doing ok on most servers.

I think he brought this up once, and worried that the game, it's direction, and it's production would be no longer really his to decide. Accepting money from other sources (just like politics) can lead those sources to expect certain things, despite the agreement to the exchange. Given that Day Z is being credited for the sales of many thousands of new copies of Arma 2, and his connection to BI, I doubt he will have a lot of trouble getting his standalone done. It's just not ready to be standalone yet. I believe kickstarter is great and has its place, but I can appreciate the fear of having a vision compromised in such a way.

"Waiting to create character" or something similar to that is normal. It sounds like for one reason or another, youre not receiving data from the server. I don't know why that would be. Double check your mod files I guess. Good luck!

Good idea for hoppers, doesn't accomplish much for people disconnecting from combat.

I don't really have a rig set up for video recording (separate HDDs etc), but I've been using dxtory and it's ok. I just can't call myself a professional about it or anything. I only really use it to record bugs or weird things. I don't do any long recordings.

Death is end game.

The game gets boring to me when you have all the gear and tents anyway. The fun in it for me is the actual scavenging. Until there is some support in the game for real permanent construction, I don't see the point. But I guess having a dozen AS50s and DMRs in a tent in the middle of no where is good for an ego stroke.

I never have, no. I assume leaving it lit will give a means to track me, but maybe it doesn't matter.

I don't murder often. I try not to. But I get into situations or others get into situations where it happens and it's more of a "whops, my bad." The last murder I committed was in Cherno. A guy with a crowbar was running around all crazy, then we realize he had zombies on him. I called out in direct coms, "Don't bring those over here, get into a building," several times, but he didn't seem to hear or something. He then saw us and made a straight B-line for us. I had seconds to react. I didn't know if they guy was planning on walloping me and my friend or if he was trying to drop zombies off on us. I made the call and decided to take him out and the zombies from a distance, before he got to us. My action hopefully saved my pal and me some injury. When I inspected the body, I saw he had nothing on him but that crowbar and a flashlight. I felt kind of bad. He probably was just looking for help and didn't know how to use coms or communicate or anything. Probably some newbie who later made a thread about how he was callously shot in Cherno.
