I was getting some issues last night on several servers. I would get a yellow/red link and all zombies/players would be moving in place. After about 30-60 seconds it would resolve itself only to do it again shortly after. I checked some bandwidth and ping tests to see if it was me, and my ISP was not performing very well last night. I just quit for the night. Not suggesting it was your ISP, just saying that I was inconclusive on determining whether it was server related or me related. -

I was one shot by a zombie once. Took 9k blood loss and knocked me out until I was eaten alive. -

Zombie attacks have a RNG chance to do any number of status effects. This includes being knocked out, having a limb broken, getting pain or shock status. Some people get it at terrible times and its very unlucky. -

Not yet, as stated. I learned the hard way when I rolled female just to try it out. Females do have the benefit of being slimmer and fitting through some tighter spaces, like between barbed wires. -
The server might be running on a time other than with the title suggests. Sometimes, a server that is traditionally on one time zone will be shut down and restarted on a different zone in order to preserve daytime/nighttime without changing the label for the server. I have also heard of a server lagging in its time tracking, like a slow watch, so if a server has been online a long time, it could end up being several hours behind or ahead. This is why most servers restart every 6-12 hours, that and for stability reasons. However, they should have the time displayed in the label, but I doubt it's a serious enough infraction for anyone to do much about it.

The only way this could happen is if an organization of players could create and enforce it themselves, which I'm totally all about. The down side is that it would give a clear target to other players who wish to tear it down for fun. Also, at the present state of Day Z, this zone would only be on one server, unless that organization had enough players to establish it on several.

When I'm desperate for food, I shoot zombies. 1 in 3 seems to have a can or something on them, in my experiences.

I once fed my dog a grape without knowing grapes are apparently harmful for dogs to eat. My wife said, "Dingus, what are you doing? Dogs can't eat grapes they could die!" I got really upset and panicked. I got him water and some liquid food, thinking it could flush it out or something. He didn't seem effected by it, though. Eventually I realized he was fine and nothing was happening to him. It worked out better than I expected.

You also have to count the suicides people do in order to improve their spawn location. "Oh no, I spawned at Komorovo" *respawn* "Yay, Cherno!" Additionally, most players keep a low profile and try not to shoot unless they really have to. My current life is my longest, but I haven't even killed 80 zombies yet.

Go to smaller towns and loot deer stands if you're having that kind of trouble. You can live in the woods near a water source and hunt animals for food. There are mean players out there who want to kill you, and you have to avoid them or kill them first. Just remember on your new spawn, before you've found a lot of good stuff or invested a lot of time, go to the high risk areas to find medicine and a bag.
