One of those #500 servers has some local scripters. I forget which one it was though. Was raiding a camp when I was being shot at by a heli (before they were allowed back in the game), they crashed it, and were back in 2 minutes in a black hawk. -

I don't remember why it was removed really. I think the idea was that it generally only served as a source for spam because most organized groups used third party voice software anyway. -

I want to see full integration of ACRE. I want to be able to have an actual radio station in game you can tune into in a vehicle or even from a radio on your pack. Would be really cool. Players could broadcast music to radios tuned to them, give news reports about happenings on the server, etc. And then if you're listening too loud, zombies here you. This is coming from the guy who thought instruments in LOTRO were awesome. -

I know there are some times where it is necessary, but these maintenance restarts on regular intervals seem like a cover operation to me. I don't run a server and do not presume to know how running one works either, so I honestly do not know. Just smells fishy. -

I love the devs here and all, but these hour long speculation interviews never do much for me when my legs are still getting crushed on stairwells and rock formations or when nearly half the community is wearing duped gear. I'm starting to fall off the hype train a bit lately. They've got all my support, but the more I play the more I see the same bugs. I hope no one takes it the wrong way. Don't mean to throw a lemon at your thread. -

It's probably 30,60,90 then. I use a lot of chemlights, helps my group stay close at night when traveling on foot. One bluechem leads. -

Chemlights have different ranges I thought. Reds could be seen from 80, greens from like 40, and blues for 20 or something like that. Is this wrong? I do know that zombies can react to chems. When I don't want to use flares, I use red chems. -

Inherit a mansion/apartmentbuilding/splitlevel/hotel from an estranged aunt/uncle/grandparent/familyfriend and take in a motley crew of misfit females needing a place to live "temporarily." At least, this is how it always seems to work out. -

I do believe you will be dead. Hive saves your location, server saves vehicle location. I could be wrong though. -
They can be duped very easily. The developer ticket system for DayZ is public. There are many tickets already asking for this to be fixed. People dupe them themselves or they find them in other camps where they have been duped.

Yeah, if I played with a large enough group, it would be something I'd aspire to do. Collect a bunch of wire and sandbags. Set up a perimeter and black off the doors except for a small opening. I've even though about making a wire fence maze around a target. Set up a big maze in a field with a tent in the middle with something in it, or nothing. See who bothers trying to navigate it or take it down. Shoot them... or don't. maybe shoot them only if they try to "cheat" by taking it down.
