There is a particular thread for Lingor in the Off-Topic forum. It is not a supported map on this forum, by that we mean, we do not provide any support for it. Hosting discussion about it in other boards can confuse readers into thinking we do. The Lingor map project is entirely separate from Day Z, and as such it is Off-Topic and we only need one topic to discuss it. Any further questioning of this will result in warnings. I would assume no as well, they are running two entirely different games. There's not enough information yet to give any concrete answers though.

Ultimately, it is no different than crowdsourcing. People throw millions of dollars at companies who promise a product without actually having much to show for it all the time lately. Offering pre-release versions of the game at a price, like minecraft did, is a means to fundraise the development of the game. Whether or not this is a preferable means of game development is debateable, but it is what it is, and no one has to participate.

With the popularity of the sniper hill northeastish of elektro, I would say elektro. Cherno seems to have a lot more building cover. Elektro is easy pickins for an overly excited sniper.
