The first thing I do when I go into Stary is search for a vehicle, there's a Red car that spawns there. that same location you used.

He's right, I doubt anything will ever happen to people who Hop off a server just to not die, so this thread is pretty pointless. And even if it's wrong do you think bob cares? No he's going to continue to exploit it because he can. Not defending cheaters but just facing reality.

Cherno Sweet Cherno. Two mates, one epic quest. So here we were Bored sitting at our camp, decided to make a run for a ghillie-suit and perhaps our lost ATV at Cherno. We grabbed our trust worthy pick-up truck Sally and headed off. We made a few stops at NWAF, the tool sheds provided lots of Vehicle pieces, just in case Sally needed some repairing which it did later on. We refueled at Vybor And headed for Green-mountain in search of a military off-road, of-course no luck in finding one :P We finally decided to head into Cherno, to paranoid to leave the vehicle in the woods we dropped it off right next to us, I got off the car and ran into the hospital to quickly grab medical supplies but as soon as we got out we heard shooting, I mean these guys were horrible with their aiming didn't hit me once but I stopped and combat logged to get the zombies off me since they had broken my legs. I told my friend to shoot the vehicle wheels while he still could and he did the guys didn't get to far away with the vehicle I came back on zombies off me, Tried to make my way back into the hospital but was shot and died. Embraced it like a man! Mean while my friend was still fighting zombies, they eventually got to him and broke his legs. I spawned back at cherno I ran over to where fire fight was, I still saw our vehicle I thought, "great now to fix it and get away as fast as possible. "I made a sharp turn around a building and two guys were just sitting there, one was wearing a ghillie and the other one had a red bald head, I started to sprint as fast as I could I ran into a dead end and was shot multiple times, again spawned at Cherno same spot, weird I know. Making my way back but this time more cautiously, the truck was not there anymore and my friend needed help he was bleeding and broken legs, above that knocked out. I looted my dead body they took my NV Goggles and a GPs. looted the hospital and grabbed the medical supplies needed. Once my buddy was fixed up we made our way tot he ATV we left behind earlier today, surprised no one took it. We hopped on the ATV, it was a shame we had lost Sally, but we found our old ATV so it was what ever... even though we lost more than we had gained. as we made our way out of cherno a shot went right past us my mate looks back and says "don't stop!" at this point we were scared shitless and fired at with out stop. I could here a shotgun and perhaps an m4/m16 being fired. didn't take to long but my friend was shot in the back didn't damage him much, but it did make him bleed we stopped at a nearby forest and our ATV flipped we were bummed out we didn't give up after giving him a Trans and bandaging him we tried to flip the ATV over, no luck. Eventually we shot the ATV and it flipped, it was a miracle!!! We had a good laugh and headed off back to the base. So far this has been my best-est experience in dayZ, a fun run and nerve-racking too. and yes the whole combat log was a shameful thing to do but yeah, happens when I panic a lot.

"So you tell a story about how you DC'd to avoid death? Gratz" Lol pretty much, me and my friend enjoyed that whole thing we encountered at cherno, had a good laugh about it. In my defense I would like to say, why not run to fight another day? Also why let a zombie get the better part of me when I can just save it all for another player?

:D I know it was a douche bag move, and yes it's wrong, butt fuck it, the mod is on it's early stages. I can see a character wipe coming once it comes out of its early stages so might as well have as much fun as you can (; while you still can.

DayZ man.... DayZ is a harsh game, I've died so many times. Shoot to live another day, it's how it works.

DayZ Logic makes no sense, ATV holds as much as a pickup truck, revolver kills zeds in one hit while most primary guns takes 2 shots. I personally think military weapon ammo should be a lot more scarce than it is, would present more challenge to surviving DayZ, And FN fal ammo is the same as DMR, but DMR is pretty much a sniper, the Fal is automatic also much more handy and stronger than most primary auto-guns making it an excellent survival weapon. all in all i don't really know shit about guns... so yeah :P excuse me if I'm wrong.

I think this would be quite funny to see, maybe use the baby as a last resource? throw it at the horde while you're being chased. It'd be like a smoke grenade.

I'd say AS50 is my favorite gun, great range not best for close combat but all you have to do is land 1 bullet the guy is down for sure.

People store them away, they usually keep them in one spot and use it for item storage. I usually camp Stary for that red car that spawns there. Some times green mountain has an off-road but everyone always takes that one.
