Sucks man, I think they should have a suicide option for withen 10 minutes of spawning, when you have a broken leg, or medical ailments. I wouldn't like a suicide option for just whenever, I don't know why, but I don't want that.

Most likely a trolling admin. I play on a server with some people, including the admins, and they often troll us on global. It's a common occurance, so don't worry about it ;)

I own a console and a PC, as well. It's just common knowledge that the average console gamer is MUCH younger than the average PC player. PC takes much more knowledge to make/buy than a console. With PC you have to know all the specs, to know weather or not you can play a game, and what computer to buy. With a console, you just spend $300-$600 and boom, you're set for 7 years. Too simple for me ;) Compared to a lot of other communities such as COD, Battlefield, and Rust, then yes.

I really want DayZ to stay PC only. I have found that the PC community is way more mature and responsible than the console community, which is filled with many very young children. Anyway, I want PC to keep DayZ :)

Eh, depends on how long you've had the game and how you approach people. You learn how to talk to people to make yourself seem friendly, then you murder them. As I've done many times. I just robbed someone today and my squadmate murdered her, even though she didn't want to die... After that, we met another cool guy, then we shot him right when he stood still. Though, I have met many friendly geared people when I was going solo. When you're with friends there is no point to being friendly and teaming.

Makarov is an obvious choice since it's Russia, and Sig Sauer P226 was my second choice, as it has always been my favorite pistol in real life. It was the first airsoft gun I got, as well, and SS is just a cool brand IMO.

People on youtube tend to be very "lucky" and by that I mean they server hop and cut out all of the hopping to make it seem like they get the awesome loots every time. You just need to learn the hotspots. For a rifle, search the school building, the big orange buildings with 1 long hall and 2 rooms on either side, and airfields/military camps. For pistols, search all the places mentioned + Fire stations. Search these places and you will be very likely to find a gun. Use this map to help you get to airfields (NorthEast airfield is the most dangerous place to go IMO, Balota is the least dangerous, NWAF is a deathtrap.) http://dayzdb.com/map/chernarusplus I also dis-agree with the poster above me. It depends on weather you want to interact with a lot of humans, as I do, or if you want to be isolated and/or just with friends. Or you could go on a low-pop server and ignore everyone and just get loot. I recommend going on a low-pop server (4-6 people) and learning the loot spots before going on better/higher servers. Today I killed a super nice guy after we were talking for about 30 minutes, I literally got really sad xD. I knew his clan name, so I sat for about 10 minutes searching on community and such. Then I just decided to go back on the server, and they were still there, and I spawned right in front of his friend... I told him how sorry I was, and he told me that his friend understood. I gave him all his stuff back as I felt bad, then we became the best of friends, for about 5 minutes before we logged off... Point is, I felt really bad about doing it, and I don't know how bandits operate like that :( euughhh, another New member...... boring. By the way, welcome to DayZ :)

Transport helis would be a viable option for me. Planes are useless and OP due to the small size of the map. Attack choppers, though, dear god. In the mod they wrecked HAVOC.... (See what I did there?)

Doubt it. Those players are quite bad, but friendly fire is quite common. I've shot my friends at least 7 times, and the same for them. There are different kinds of bad, though. In my case these guys just had horrible aim and tactics. Your guys had horrible communication.

The shirt does give you protection, but it's so little prot. it's not really worth it.

There is nothing wrong with sharing stories, people just don't realize what forums are for. Forums aren't just for stating problems and asking questions, they are also a place to share stories so new people know weather or not to buy the game.

Yep, it's the quietest gun in the game. It's good for executing annoying prisoners ;). I have two magazines atm, I believe.

Hi man! I know you'll probably go with TMW or the other medic clan above me, but I am actually at NEAF at the moment, and I have more than enough medical supplies to fix all of your injuries listed. I can give you a shot of Morphine for your legs and arms, plenty of food and water, and I have a saline bag I can give to you. I am also looking to rid of my FNX, and it has a magazine & a silencer. I don't want to drop it because silencers are so rare for the FNX. Anyway, I can get on tomorrow at around 4:00PM Central U.S Time. I love to have the amphibia for killing zombies on larger servers, and it's great for killing players in a firefight, as well, if you're flanking. It's a 1 shot headshot that will either KO or kill, so if you're in a firefight and you flank, you can take out 2-3 people before you are even noticed. Other than that the M4 is good for close range combat ONLY. Anything further than 50 or so meters and you should use a mosin.

My most defining choice(s) came today and yesterday at the same place. Me and my friend were looting NEAF yesterday, and I was looting the top of a PD while my friend covered the door. I heard a hail of gunfire, and my friend said "shit shit, guy at the door!" I ran downstairs and my friend then said "He's down.". The guy started talking to us. Many people would take his stuff, shoot him in the head, and be gone with him. Instead, I bandaged him, then my friend gave him a saline. We let him keep his gun, as well. We gave him food, water, and we talked for a while even after we shot him and broke his legs. The second choice came today. I was again in NEAF, but this time I was alone... I had just looted the far PD, the hangers, and the ATC. I went to the last PD, opened the door, and saw that the cell door was open... I immediately peeked up the staircase and saw a guy with no gun and a blue backpack. I went back to the corner near the door, aiming directly at the staircase and said in a loud and clear voice "Are you friendly? If you're friendly or a bandit, I want you to come down the staircase with your gun on your back, or you're dead". He obediently came down the stairs, and put his hands up. I asked him a couple questions, then he showed me where some ammo was for my M4. We then looted the town near NEAF. I was suspicious the whole time, as I was wondering why he hasn't tried to kill me yet. Eventually we were in the new prison building, a very confined area. He said he took his axe out to kill zombies, but then he came up to me on the second floor with his axe raised directly at me. I fired a few shots, hoping to send a subconcious message that says "Get the fuck away", but I immediately said "Sorry dude, sorry, you scared me!!!". I then helped him bandage and he morphined himself. After that we split up without saying a word. From this, I conclude that I am a type of player that will often try to shoot for a KO/Broken Legs, then try to help or make friends with the person. Though it often doesn't work out that way.

Yeah, I have had 5 encounters with people in the PD at NEAF, in all of them I'm upstairs. Most of them probably heard me, and decided to go up the stairs.... I easily blew their heads off in my prone position behind the railing... I never actually loot Elektro unless I'm a fresh spawn, so I have no stories there ^^

I don't mind combat loggers. They give me a good laugh when I see them, as I wonder how they have fun playing the game. Then I go on my merry way, with no worries to ruin my day.
