I normally shoot bambis and fully geared players. Bambis are bad, as they have nothing to lose. So they will try to punch you out, normally. Fully geared people, they are a threat to you, and unless you can surround them with your squad, it's recommended to just shoot them on sight. People that don't have a gun, though, I like to let them live. Or people that are injured. I used to hold people up all the time, now I'm doing that less and less, as me and my squad tend to either KoS, or to help.

I'd like night-vision goggles, but no thermal sights, please.

I would love a rangefinder, I could help my buddies out so much more when I'm sniping.

Easier way to use binoculars - Just right click while they are lowered. Point at where you want to look with your crosshair on your screen, then just right click while they are LOWERED, and it will automatically bring it up to the right position ;)

Hey man, not just for you, but for others who read this as well - You can clean ruined rags with alcohol tincture to make the rags pristine, it even works if the alcohol is ruined. It has saved my life a couple times while sniping which has led to saving my buddies live's, as well.

Eh, the hardcore server I play on is completely full for most of the day. It will go to low-pop for about 2 hours a day...

Good idea, but only for guns such as LMG's. Honestly, I would like a feature that damaged your gun's barrel if fired too much without cleaning it with the weapon cleaning kit (They really need a use for that), so that kinda ties in with your idea...

Nice. I did this in Berezino lone wolf. I was at the construction site and some sniper started shooting at me, I zoomed in really quick and saw them. I then flanked around insanely far, got behind them, shot one in the head, broke the other's legs, only to get shot by another one of their sniper buddies. I only had an sks with 7 bullets and no backpack with very little food, so I wasn't worried about being very cautious ^^

I don't really view the zombies as horror, just more of a nuisance ^^. I think it's be great to actually have DayZ without zombies. Though I doubt anybody would play it.

I think the game is great. At the moment it is perfect for hopping into teamspeak channels and messing around in a large city. The server/teamspeak I play on is having some problems with hackers on the server, though ;(. I also love the way they hold off on the updates, making us completely forget about the updates, then all of a sudden there is 20 new items in the game. The crossbow sucks, though ^^ I hope they can make it like a secondary or something. Anyway, #DayZFanBoyz4Life ;P

No. Military aircraft will result in me, and probably many others, quitting DayZ. To have a bunch of trolls getting planes and carpet bombing Berezino/Elektro would be the worst thing ever. Also those helicopters with mounted Machine guns? Are you kidding me??? No. Your other ideas are good, but most of the military vehicles shouldn't get in.

Actually. Helicopters would be great if they were transport helis that were hella-hard to maintain. Don't you agree???

Yes, I know. I have a problem with my posts sometimes because I always go on the forums quite late at night. That particular night I was just getting back from baseball practice and I was tired as hell. Honestly, though, an xbow can have just as much lethality as a gun if it hits the correct places. You're gonna bleed for day(z) (hehe...) and lose tons of blood, possibly losing conciousness. Also, a bullet is MORE LIKELY to pass through you than an arrow. A bullet could leave shards inside you though, I believe? I also know 100% that any type of gun has more energy than any arrow on the planet. It's obvious. There is a reason we don't use xbows in wars today. I'm just saying, I agree with what you're saying and my statement was mostly incorrect.

Haha. I've really slowed down my posting on the forums due to the fact that you have to search the pages of people to find the posts that have quoted you. It gets quite annoying :( I don't care much for how many posts I have, though :)

True, true. I was explaining that an arrow does a lot of damage, even though some of my statements may have been wrong. I know a gun like a magnum will cause more of a stop than an arrow. I know that arrows have more of a problem after being shot due to the arrowhead. You can't pull it out, so you are more likely to open/infect your wound when you push the arrow out/have it removed.

An arrow is large. So there is more stopping power. Honestly, in real life, you'd much rather be shot by a gun than an arrow. A bullet will just pass through you if it is powerful enough (normally is depending on what kind of bullet it is), while and arrow will split a massive wound in your chest on impact. It most certainly is NOT child's play.

I completely agree with you 100%. Though I believe pistols and shotguns should be almost as common as they are right now, since many civillians own pistols and shotguns. I don't even hunt or target practice, yet I own a hunting shotgun with ammunition. Also, so many people own .22 rifles/pistols, that it would be obsurd not to make them common. I agree that military loot is too common, though. Most of the military gear would be gone, due to all of the soldiers trying to fight the virus.

Rain has no effect right now, at least from what I've seen. Me and my clan always PvP in the rain with no problems at all, don't even worry about it Not all pre-adolescents and/or adolescents are Cod faggots. A lot of them aren't. Also, trust me, there is more KoS adults than kids. Faster health regen? No. I think it should be WAY harder to re-gen health. Health regenerates insanely fast right now. Seriously, 1/2 a bag of rice, 10 seconds at a well, and boom. Health is way to easy to regenerate, and I'm hoping that they will add some sort of healing system where you have to rest at a camp/tent to heal faster, with reduced healing speed while roaming the wilderness. I also think that being shot at should have more of an effect on your health, such as a shock factor. Causing you to have a heart attack or something along the lines of that.

Yeah, I've turned to clans for fun in DayZ. Until more of my friends get the game, at least. I rarely go west anymore, though. Right now I'm at NWAF. Idk why I went there *sigh*

I've noticed that there is a ton of geared people out east, and that's because of NEAF. No matter where the spawns are, people are GOING TO GET TO AIRFIELDS SHORTLY AFTER THEY SPAWN. Sad thing is, those people end up dying to fresh spawns quite often. Just earlier today. I ran into a guy near the suicide silo in solnichniy. I waved at him, pointed at him, sat down in front of him, got up. This is the good part. He flipped me off, so I punched him in the head, One, two three punches and all of a sudden, i have a decked-out M4, a long range scope, all the food I could need, and an M1911 with a flashlight and mag... They really need to make it like 6 punches in the head to knock a player out, it's not even funny being able to be knocked out in two hits. Ballistic helmets should also prevent knockouts just as much as a hard hat or a moto-bike helm.
