Thing is, these streamers, all that needs to leak out is their steam name. People can just search their steam name and join their game even if they don't get a friend request accepted.

Well. What I mean is, a 7.62 is gonna kill you waist up almost everytime, as will a .50cal. Correct, right? Thing is, 7.62 ammo is cheaper, easier to get a hold of, and quieter. Which means it will work more effectively. Also, a shuriken wielded by a ninja is 1000x more deadly than a 9mm bullet. >:)

Lol, you think a 7.62x51mm is weak? Funny. That thing will blow your leg off. And 50cal. is mainly an Anti-Material round, and without vehicles, that's useless. A 7.62 typically will work better against players than a 50cal. If they do add a 50cal. (Which I hope they don't) It will be used for taking out vehicles mainly.

Sure, it'd be great to have a stealth kill system. Though I think it would have a success rate of around 40% of killing them and 60% of injuring them, something like that. Also, it can't be sensitive like Frostbite's knife system. That would be just lame.

Bro, the guy above is right. The most fun thing to do is to just wander, while RPing as much as you can. Best if you travel with friends/groups. My advice - Never takes cans or canned food. Only eat hunted meat and only drink from wells, canteens, and water bottles. Adds much more RP and more of a challenge to the game.

I really hope they add the ability to kill animals using melee, and that they add an actual AI for the animals.... Funny vid, though ^^

To be honest, I think the AKM is too hard to find for how bad it is. It's not really a good gun unless it's point blank range. I'd take ANY other gun for it, a rifle at least. Except that the AK looks cool.

I have a 7 year old Alienware and the only upgrades I've put in it are a Gtx 650 ti graphics card and some newer motherboard I got off craigslist... The thing runs like a charm. It's the newer alienwares that suck, old ones are great. OP, your alienware needs to be upgraded, that's your only problem. Get a new graphics card, check your processer, motherboard, and ram. Check it with DayZ requirements on the internet.

That's a DayZ issue. At least that's what I think it is... I can barely hear people when I'm playing DayZ. I turn my master down all the way, to like 1% or something (IN-Game Master), and VOIP to 100%, then I turn my headphones (Very good headphones with 7.1 surround sound and high-level boost) to 100% and that makes it sound audible, like what the hell.

I think what OP was going for is that they need to buff the crossbow and bow, and start to make firearms extremely rare. I'd like to see firearms as rare as press vests, and make improvised weapons and melee weapons a must have.

Lol, I found a mag at NW, got shot by 2 snipers, then by an SKS, and SOMEHOW survived all that, but ruined my mag in the process. Then the next day I found an AK, but failed to find a new magazine, so I just got one from my friend. I've actually not killed anyone or any animals yet with it, so I have yet to feel it's power. But I definitely can shoot it more accurately, as I have done some tests. And the 7.62 Caliber bullet should do a lot more damage than it's 5.56 counterpart.

Well, don't search for 3pp:off. Filter your gamemode to hardcore. Anyway, while I normally do play on hardcore, I really do prefer regular. Why? I have just played many games for a long time, and many of them happened to be third person. So, do I use 3p to my advantage in firefights? No. Whenever I move into a high risk area or if I'm in a firefight, etc. I switch to first person, and I feel that being the underdog in these fights without the third person, adds an extra adrenaline rush, an extra need to be tactical and peek effectively. These are just my opinions, but for the most part, I agree that there are too many people playing Regular.

Why do I play DayZ? Why don't I play DayZ more??? I logged about, what is it, 330 hours on the game and then just stopped to play CS:GO and Arma 3... Mostly, the best thing in DayZ right now for me is sniping to support my team while they loot towns and trolling players in the game.

This is probably the case, it happens a lot. When I do team vs. team we often don't hear eachother's sniper shots, but they obviously happen :P

Great idea. I've actually quit DayZ until they add more survival, as right now it's way to easy to get a gun and gear and murder anybody you want.

Wow, what an ass. I mean I've seen some pretty shit hackers before, but wow. The only worse I've seen was one that got me and my whole clan killed. Our clan leader and 2 other guys were in our rally house on a hill, and we're all down in the city, all of a sudden we hear gunfire through one of their mics on TS, and our clan leader says he's dead. So me and 1 other guy rush up there, as the rest of our clan was too far away, I get up there, fire at least 20 shots of an m4 into his ass running up the hill, we get up there, and run around him because we ran out of ammo shooting at him, thinking we just missed (I happened to be recording, so I looked back on it and saw the blood hit him when I shot him), so we started trying to axe him, while he screams "Man, I play on this server all the time and wreck you guys every day!" . Hackers are a huge problem in DayZ and they seriously need to be fixed, I love what you're doing here, thanks man.

Snipers who know their gun well, many of them I know, can be the most deadly players in the game. Once you figure out how to zero your gun by eye, not using the DayZDB map, and when you can learn to lead your shots to hit moving players, you become the most dangerous person on the map. I guarantee a seasoned Arma sniper could beat a veteran Arma player who is using an M4 at over 200m ANY DAY. Also, seasoned Snipers would normally be so good that they would take the victim out before they even heard the shot.

Not really shooting the gun, but being shot by the gun, you should really have some issues. I think being shot at should slow you down, blur your vision, lower your audio, etc. Shooting the gun should only hurt your ears, they should add earbuds which would be very common.

Hi. This is something that I've wanted to do many times. It's an extra use for rags, that could be super cool. My idea is, you stick a rag in someone's mouth, and that muffles their in-game voice chat, quieter and muffled. I also think you should be able to soak it in something like alcohol tincture, and when you stuck it in someone's mouth, it would knock them unconcious. These would act much like the burlap sack, but mainly for Voice-Chat and Robberies.

Molotov's would require sooooo much development, that frankly, I don't think the DayZ team could handle. They'd need to implement liquid, as mentioned above me, they need to add flammability statistics, a whole new engine that allowed for destruction of buildings, damage ratings for fire, more physics, it's just too hard. And personally, I think duct tape should be used for fixing car parts, gun parts, bases, etc.

Um, aesthetic is the use we're talking about right now? But yeah, I don't think the second use would have much of a chance to be implemented, but after vehicles and survival is done, I think rags in the mouth would be cool.
