AKM looks and sounds better, but the M4 is much more accurate, which really is important. You can't hit any shots over 100 meters with the AKM... Hope they buff it ^^

I had just climbed the ladder of the school building in Krastanov, and right as I found a long-range scope, I fell and my legs broke. I was sure I hadn't been shot as I wasn't bleeding, I didn't hear a gunshot, didn't see blood spurt out, and I was crouching. In order to hit me on top of the school with the desync that happens on the ladder, from possible sniping spots (Probably around 600-1000m shots), you'd have to be one of the best snipers in the game. That glitch sucks and needs to be fixed.

High-Value gear? Bro, you can get anything in DayZ withen a day real time nowadays, it sucks :( I personally, live for about 2-4 weeks at a time, as I am insanely good at PvP situations due to my experience in First person Shooters (Which is basically what DayZ is now...). So everything I have is pristine, I'm assuming OP is somewhat new to the game, or isn't super OCD like me and you xD

Yes I've met a bigger douchebag. Me. I like to find random people and pretend to team with them, take em' far out in to the wood saying we're going to an airfield or something, then when they eat or something, I knock them out, Cuff em' Break their legs, bandage, heal, etc. Strip their clothes and weapons, then leave them with the holy bible.

Don't sprint and vault. Look away from the roof, press v once to slow vault, then turn around. Much safer and easier way to get up there. You can also sit in the chimneys and nobody will ever see you if you don't move.

Listen, I understand what you're saying about how nobody can be trusted. But I have an extra mag and I really don't play DayZ much. I'm fully geared anyway, AND I have an AKM, no reason to kill you. I've really been missing playing on the server, as it was the first server I ever went on, and ever since it tanked, I stopped playing arma. So anyway, is there a new server up, and if so, what's the ip?

Nope. I have my Hold Breath binded to 3 keys ( f1 f2 f3) and have for many months now. I tried using 5 keys, but it still didn't work. It's a bug. Just wondering if anyone else has problems with it...

Yeah, I was thinking of other stuff at the time. I was just messing around on the forums because I couldn't get to sleep.

I agree with you 100%. I never got DayZ mod, so I can't give you much of an opinion on that. I've only played it on friend's accounts and such. Thing is about the zombies, the dev team should just remove them unless they can fix he wall glitches, spotting from 200miles away, and the horrible damage ratings on them. They just need to increase their health, and make them do more damage. They have a perfect amount of zombies right now, it's just that the zombies suck. Also, I know a lot of people who freaked out and got scared the first time they heard a zombie on this game. I agree that it's hilarious, though xD It sounds much like a woman giving birth xD

And I've never heard of a way to do that. *I will now search on google* Ahhh, I guess answering forum questions while listening to epic Dream Theater at 2 AM isn't a good mix for remembering Steam options and settings. Yes, you can set your profile to private, and you can appear offline. If you set your profile to private, though, I believe that messes up your trading options and such, so most people don't do that. And if you appear offline I don't believe you can play any online games, I think you can only play single-player games while offline. Anyway, my point s, while, yes, you can prevent people by joining your game, most people don't. The only people that would really do this are the people with huge fan bases, such as Syndicate.

Honestly, I stay out of PvP mainly, as I prefer more of the survival aspect of the game. So it's not much of a problem for me. I just tap the trigger, pulling off semi-auto shots at range to take down targets. I actually love the whole jumping and skipping, as it makes it feel like a gun in real life. Also, I have an AKM airsoft gun, that looks exactly the same as the in-game AKM, except it doesn't have a wood handle. :p

Thing is, these streamers, all that needs to leak out is their steam name. People can just search their steam name and join their game even if they don't get a friend request accepted.

Well. What I mean is, a 7.62 is gonna kill you waist up almost everytime, as will a .50cal. Correct, right? Thing is, 7.62 ammo is cheaper, easier to get a hold of, and quieter. Which means it will work more effectively. Also, a shuriken wielded by a ninja is 1000x more deadly than a 9mm bullet. >:)

Lol, you think a 7.62x51mm is weak? Funny. That thing will blow your leg off. And 50cal. is mainly an Anti-Material round, and without vehicles, that's useless. A 7.62 typically will work better against players than a 50cal. If they do add a 50cal. (Which I hope they don't) It will be used for taking out vehicles mainly.
