My favorite item? My favorite item is handcuffs of course. A couple days ago, I handcuffed some random dude that said he was friendly, I was going to let him go, but realized I had no keys. I decided to try and kill him, but he logged off, so he died anyway...

I agree with you about the Mosin + Lrs = Bandit part. I think the same thing. I like to think I'm not a bandit, but I feel somewhat bad about doing this. I forgot to talk to the dude right after I killed him, I wish I could've apologized...

I've found that you just should never use the Fnx. Magnum or sawed off shotty is the way to go for a secondary, as they do not require magazines. I've used an Fnx once before (Found it with a clip, I'm so lucky!), and it sucks. It took me about 10 shots close range to win a firefight against an M4 (Don't ask me how he lost.. I think he had broken his leg or something.). I also have no trouble finding magazines for the M4, but I can never find an M4... I completely agree with everyone here, finding mags for guns or finding guns for mags, sucks!

I think it'd be fun to be able to break legs with one shot to the legs. It would make the game more realistic, as well. If you get shot directly in the leg, arm, hip, any bone, really, It's going to break. I would do that to people that didn't comply to hold ups... Then I'd just let them crawl around I'd go cuff them, take all their food, water, weapons, and pills, uncuff them, then let them crawl around until they find meds, die from a player, or die from starvation. I agree though, I hope they implement/fix the issue of pistols not breaking legs. (I got my leg broke by an M4 in a close quarters battle, I won the firefight using an fnx-45, tell me how that's possible...)

I think a better trading system would be cool. It sucks that when you try to trade, you normally receive a bullet to the face.

It's ok to KOS in a military zone, anywhere else is kind've a stupid move.

I wish my friends had DayZ... You can't team up with random people either, because they always end up killing you once they have a gun..

I haven't gotten to the point where I can kill people all the time and survive, I'm too friendly >.< After every death I literally say aloud "Ok, from now on I have to KOS everybody, no matter what". I can never do it, though :( Yesterday I even decided to give a dude ammo for his gun >.< (He shot me ._.). I guess I'll never be able be a seriel killer :S

I had this happen to me before, I heard a robbery and he was saying near the northeast airfield, though I was in Cherno. Same thing happens to me :/

I seem to have two different characters, with different equipment, but still on the chernarus map. It's really weird, and it can get annoying with the 5 minute cooldown, because I log-in to DayZ, get that character that I don't want, then I have to wait 5 minutes to go to a normal server, anyone else having this problem?

It is against the rules, I believe, and it would be so easy to get loot quickly and bring it to another server, and kill the people there. PvE would also be quite boring, as the zombies in both the mod and SA are way too easy to kill.

I like to fire as quickly as I can while aiming at core body-mass. I aim at the chest, so the recoil just leads me into the head if I end up missing, and so I can make sure they're dead.

Everybody seems to say "Don't feel invincible after you get a gun". I'm thinking "I don't feel invincible, I hate having a gun, I don't know why the hell I pick them up!". I'm sure many of you can relate, though some probably can't. What I'm saying is that, when I get a gun, I feel like players think I'm more of a threat, want to kill me more, and do it, they follow through and kill me. Even when I have a gun with full ammo, I have tons of food, bandages, everything I could possibly need, I feel vulnerable. I don't know why, but I just can't walk around with a gun and still be friendly to people, I'm too scared to help people, afraid they'd axe me when I'm not looking to get my gun. Can anyone agree?

I've had that before the game mate. Whenever someone walks near me, I always jump into sort've a combat stance, not super evident, but I'm ready to defend myself. That's probably because of my addiction with martial arts and Chuck Norris from ages 5-9... I don't think this is because DayZ though, since I've done it for years...

I've actually had many glitched falls, from at least 20m up and I don't die... Anyway, I agree with Mr. Lifer, the more stuff I get, the more scared I am of other players, which doesn't make sense... I feel more vulnerable, and easier to kill. Most DayZ vids say "Don't feel invincible with a gun", I feel exactly the opposite, I literally sit in a corner for at least a minute to listen for people before I go outside... One time I was at the NE airfield, thought I'd be kind've safe there as there isn't as many people as NW or Balota. I run out to head to the town right next to it, and BAM M4 straight to my back. I was kind've sad because I had 2 40 round mags, 3 30 round mags, an m4 with nearly all prestine parts, at least 5 food items, 2 med kits, 2 canteens, and lots of other useful stuff. All because of one noob that was a KOS, he couldn't aim either, took him about his full mag to kill me... I wanted to raise my gun and take a shot for his head, but I was so close to the cover of the control tower I kept running, and that was the end of me... From now on I must KOS, for my own good...

I normally KOS now, I don't like to, though. It's because of the stupid bandits. I try to be friendly to people, and have learned my lesson many times. Just today I was trying to be friendly to this dude in Elektro, I find myself getting beat in the back of the head by him just moments later, I had a bike helmet on so I didn't fall unconcious, so I turned around and clubbed him in the face with my axe, which thankfully did kill him. Then later, about 10 minutes later, same town, I'm looting the military building with the cuffs and magnums in it, right? I hear footsteps, I turn around and there's a guy with a fire axe going medival on me, so I unloaded on him with my SKS, wasting 10 bullets... Now thanks to those two, I have a broken leg, no morphine, only 1 water bottle, 4 bullets, and quite a bit of food. Though all the stuff in my pants and shirt were ruined, including my blood bags, and, go figure, Morphine... This is why I KOS anyone that isn't an irl friend. I've learned my lesson of being friendly, and how it doesn't work..

Meh, I'm American and I love the Brits, I think it's sorta fun to be on a server where you know it's "Every man/woman for him/herself". I enjoy playing on American servers, I actually ran into 3 people who weren't Kill on Sight, though. Wish surprised me!

Pfft, what's wrong with eating a rotten fruit? The little green and black spots on it make me think of chocolate! Seriously though, I don't know if food poisoning is even in the game. Most of the things in standalone don't change based on their condition. The only thing that matters at the moment is gun parts, I believe.

Most likely a glitch man, this is Alpha. Don't worry too much about it, it will get better as the game advances, have fun in DayZ man!

Don't know man, but from my experience, I think it might. I actually ate a pristine rotten kiwi, just to see what would happen, but nothing happened. I ate other rotten foods before though and they hurt me, so I don't know, but I'm guessing it might.

Sorry man, I mis-read "buddies" as bandits. It's 3:00 AM here, I'm sitting on forums... I hate bandits though, glad to know you aren't one. I normally never KOS though, except for the first player I saw, I punched him to death. Good luck with your sniping man, hope you can become one of the elite "Good guy" snipers. Most epic snipers are bandits, sadly :( Have fun playing DayZ! Bye!

I think It'd be nice to see a Tokarev TT-30 added to the game. I want a lot of pistols to be added, except that would take forever to add, I think it'd be cool to have some German weapons such as the Kar-98. I don't want auto weapons though, I wish there wasn't any auto weapons at all, takes so much less skill in my opinion.
