Again, another thing I'm surprised I didn't find in search, but I will suggest it anyway. Me and my friends were talking about this a day or two ago. I think it would be cool if you could paint ballistic helmets, right? I always want to dress as full black, but it's useless because the helmet is green! No way I'm putting on a black beret and risking getting shot unconcious, either. Just thought suggesting this would be a good idea, cheers. I.E Here's a picture of a black Ballistic Helmet.

Ok, I really SHOULD have checked the changelog ^^. It was almost 2:00AM when I posted that, so I wasn't thinking about checking it too much, though. I guess I'll try it out when they implement it, that's awesome ^_^

lol.... I know.... I'm just telling him that bayonets do work, they do their job. I use them as a very legit weapon when stabbing zombies on my way to Balota. They also open cans, just as their ign desc says :)

Ok, so I spawned into Balota on a server with two people, right??? I expected not to find anyone, then as I'm walking downstairs I see someone in the doorway and I immediately run back up the stairs pulling out my gun saying "Are you friendly, are you friendly?!" and he responds "Yes, are you? Make sure you don't move, we won't kill you". So I sat there for a while, thinking "They're gonna kill me, I should just log out." I decided not to log out as I didn't even have a gun, nothing that I really wanted to keep. I asked them "are you going to hold me up??" They said "No, but we want to make sure you won't do the same to us". Then you wouldn't imagine what they gave to me.... I would provide the picture I took, but apparently I can't put pictures from my steam profile on these forums... Anyway, they gave me an M4 with pristine everything except for bipod, literally everything. Pristine Suppressor, pristine Mp buttstock, Pristine RIS handguard, Pristine Acog, Pristine Flashlight, Pristine gun, too. Anyway, these are the best people I've ever seen on DayZ, and hope to see more like them.

Bayonets do work. Let me explain the process. Steps. 1.) Pick up Bayonet. 2.) Equip Bayonet into hand. 3.) Press space bar to raise Bayonet. 4.) Smack things in the face with it, because body shots are useless. I honestly want to see THIS.

That's what I thought the whole time... Why didn't he shoot back? I saw that he had a gun, why no shots back at that arse? Especially since he had a fresh spawn with him, he could've had the fresh spawn go punch him while he took his gun out, I don't understand this? I feel it was fixed :/

I actually still have it :). I'm so much more cautious now, and I have such good camo I highly doubt I'll die for at least 4-5 days. I am trying to stay out of populated areas because I have such good gear now, only stopping by Balota to pick up some ammo as I ran out ^^...

Why is it that when we post threads and replies on forums, that we can only attach files about half of the time??? How am I supposed to put up steam screenshots or even edited pictures if I can't attach files? I know I can use image urls, but that doesn't work for steam screenies, help please?

I don't care if it had zero value, I'm just saying that most people would never give anyone a loaded gun in DayZ, correct? Most people would be terrified that they would shoot them, correct?? Most people wouldn't give me anything, but these guys did and I appreciate that.

Yeah, they did give me a dupe gun, but I don't care, it's still freaking awesome that they would give me a gun with ammo when I could've easily just killed them after they gave it to me!

Trading would be cool, but it wouldn't be cool if they added a safe system where nobody can steal your stuff, it's DayZ. In a post apocalyptic state, people wouldn't really be trading fairly unless they were the nicest, or stupidest person alive.

Expected I'd find something in the forums prior to this relating to the same topic, but no. Anyway, I think it'd be cool if we could craft guns out of gun parts that we find, it would be very simple. Basically, my idea would be that the Devs could add a "Gun body" to the game, and you'd put the parts on top of that i.e. Handguard, Buttstock, Sights, etc.

You heard me. Yep. The Bambi Mafia has started. I have a plan, a vision, no... A vision-worthy plan, yes, that's it! Anyway, I know what I'm going to do on DayZ from now on. I'm going to get an M4, instead of a mosin, then I'm going to hold people up that have full gear, not even full gear guys, just any dudes that have a backpack, right? I'll take all their stuff, and then I'll find random bambis on the coast.... I'll give them all the stuff I found, except for a can or two of beans and my cuffs and gun for me, just because I'm so nice. Then I'll shoot th... I mean, say goodbye, forever...

I see what you mean, yeah. I think you guys are awesome and I've been helped before so easily, takes about 2 minutes to get a hold of someone! Also, the applicant "JayTrinity45" helped me and did a great job, I vouched for him on the TMW forums, but I also want to give him some gratification here
