this would be easy to balance, just consider all of the makeshift weapons equal to others that exist(copy/paste stats), but attach a durability degradation to them. i.e. they become ruined after a while, and make them harder to craft

the magnifications are fine, provided you drop your FOV all the way down. The issue is that your FOV needs to dynamically react to whether you are ADS or not.

Let's take the idea a bit further, and add the ability to make use of the bones as well. I'm not sure if you've thought of this and maybe this is not a thing but, if I'm not mistaken the reticule pictured may be subject to copyright by trijicon, inc. which would require licensing by bohemia to be in the game. Edit: after a quick look on trijicons website, they offer ACOGs in at least 8 different types of reticule and magnification flavors, so there is no one "correct" reticule for an ACOG scope.

To me, a "hot mic" is not a solution to metagaming. I would treat this an invasion of my privacy and do whatever i could to circumvent its application. with that aside there are (undetectable) free software solutions to circumvent this. Virtual Audio Cable comes to mind.

Hey folks, I would appreciate and comments or thoughts on this system (http://pcpartpicker.com/p/2KvJ1) I am building to be a gaming/youtube/stream box. About the build: the parts list is mostly accurate except for a few placeholders and an omission. The mouse i have selected in this list is not the mouse i intend to buy. The tteSPORTS VOLOS is the mouse I intend to buy, but could not find it in the component list on the site. The Theron mouse is similarly priced so it's placeholder for the time being. I have very varied tastes when it comes to the games i play and I find RTS/MOBA geared mice suit me better.I have no keyboard selected on the parts list because I am not sure which cherry MX key switches I want. I have ordered a small sample of red, black, blue, and brown switches mounted on a PCB board to help me decide. Will choose a keyboard once i decide.Last placeholder is the OS. Should i go with Windows 8? 8.1? or stick with 7-64bit?​ I have imposed a budget of $5,000USD on this build for a nice buffered price range and i would like to try and keep it under 3,500 if possible. I will also be purchasing a condenser microphone with a shockmount and an adjustable boom arm for around 300. So thoughts? comments? advice?
