this would be easy to balance, just consider all of the makeshift weapons equal to others that exist(copy/paste stats), but attach a durability degradation to them. i.e. they become ruined after a while, and make them harder to craft

the magnifications are fine, provided you drop your FOV all the way down. The issue is that your FOV needs to dynamically react to whether you are ADS or not.

I'm not sure if you've thought of this and maybe this is not a thing but, if I'm not mistaken the reticule pictured may be subject to copyright by trijicon, inc. which would require licensing by bohemia to be in the game. Edit: after a quick look on trijicons website, they offer ACOGs in at least 8 different types of reticule and magnification flavors, so there is no one "correct" reticule for an ACOG scope.

To me, a "hot mic" is not a solution to metagaming. I would treat this an invasion of my privacy and do whatever i could to circumvent its application. with that aside there are (undetectable) free software solutions to circumvent this. Virtual Audio Cable comes to mind.
