You are confusing survival in a woodland scenario with survival in a much larger landscape that includes zombies and several towns. Although your interpretation may soon be in game as I have heard rumours about tents and knifes and animals etc...

Why should heros get an advantage ??? In a post apocalyptic world, there is no justice system, there is no tangible reward for helping others. If your reason for being a hero is to gain reward, then frankly you are doing it wrong. Bandits gain an advantage that is your loot. That is the main reason for banditry. So we have this realistic situationm but you dont like it. You wish it to be unrealistic and reward those who should not be seeking a reward while punishing those who activley seek a reward. Your new solution does not work given the scenario that people play on a certain server consistently over a period of time.

Sorry but if you meant something else you should have said something else. I have explained why there is no deathmatching in DayZ. The clue is in the word dude, MATCH.

Deathmatching would assume a start point an end point and in DayZ there is no such thing.

Yes and emotion does tend to cloud judgement. The terms in question are really open to debate, its really a matter of what is socially acceptable. When certain words are banned in most places then we can determine that they are not socially acceptable.

I was right to question this statement as in fact Mental damages are a reason for a lawsuit. When I posed the question "So mental damages are not grounds for a lawsuit ?" Your response is to question the way I said it. I did not say it, it was a question. I am well aware of the need for evidence in a court of law. Being negligent is not the only reason for a case that has the basis of mental damages. Now it could be argued that video imagery of a representation of a child in a game being abused, could indeed cause some form of emotional distress such as anxiety or grief. There are a lot of lawsuits in the history of mankind with a very similar reason. Again I am aware of the need for evidence. Yeah so if you could not talk about law when you are skipping over certain aspects or just you actually dont really know, then that would be great! It would also be nice if you were not so arrogant about it as well, after all I was right and you were wrong. Thanks.

hmmm, there is already plenty games with Raccoon City. I like this game as it is fairly unique.

There does seem to be a large number of reports that suggest that swearing, in some cases, can relieve pain. This might explain its use in some cases, I suggest that it is used in place of a well thought out response in an attempt to alieviate the pain of someone disagreeing with you.

All the many posts about skill systems are still available to view. If you think that most of the people are for it then you are deluded. You want to add character value because you believe it is the only way to simulate the only real life reward of staying alive. However you previously said that real life survival has 3 rewards "real life and there is a reward, progress and a point". Your next paragraph is then you reading the minds of the community. Thats great you can do that. So, If you have an idea for a skill system, what is it ?

not much in the sense of advancing the human race. i would imagine. It does however, make some of them come on forums crying and open a thread in which we discuss things.
