Im sorry but you cannot base your argument off of a TV show. In case you were not aware, TV, movies etc have very little basis in reality and often forgo reality in favour of shock value, ratings and suspense. Edit: You also fail to address the psychological impact of losing your family and loved ones and being forced to live off the land inhabited by zombies. edit: Also, please tell us how you suggest the game determines when you kill someone just for lewt or teh lulz and when you kill someone who is endangering your life ? -
Nah, it just means people would be whoring achievments instead of playing the game.

First I would like a source of your "large majority of new players enjoy jumping right into the game". I think you probably just made that up. New players actually do read up before making a purchase, I present myself as an example of this. Of course it does not apply to everyone. Will we also ban shouting "Friendly" in an attempt to lure new players into a false sense of security ? Or having a non-agressive player lead a new player around the map into a a flase sense of security, while his friend sniper lines up a shot ?

I dont cry about it, not sure you can determine my emotional status and physical reactions??? I have never told someone its "theyr vision". I don not know how to make urself some questions.

If you are left alive its a risk that you may kill someone else. Basically killing is a pro-active way to prevent killing.

I am glad you like that video guys, its one of the reasons I had to take DayZ more seriously. I would suggest you have a look at some of the steam reviews as a lot of them follow the same tone of humour.

It was quite hard to read to be honest and not very funny for me. Maybe if your writing style and formatting was different, I dunno. So here is my attempt at humour: -
Yes you may see KoS or whatever as being an asshole. Im sure there are many who have a dim view of grown men sporting my little pony avatars etc So while everyone is entitled to their opinion, trying to force yours onto someone else could be considered unethical.

While a server names rule may be a good idea. There is also the fact that, there are clearly defined rules that you should probably have looked at as a new player. Those rules would let you know that the server named PvE would not be allowed to enforce that stance unless breaking the rules.

it has a lot to do with it being in alpha, it you would understand the concept. as for CoD, it might be a running joke... and yeah try a hardcore server, i hear there is no 3rd person on those. -

What if the fresh spawn is beyond the point of learning ? Many people play this game with varying degress of experience, also age. Fresh spawn could be anyone.

Well I guess we disagree guys. The beauty of the game is that a lot is left up to the imagination and we are not forced into a certain role.
