It is already a mechanic of the game that being a bandit could get you hunted. So im not sure what you are trying to suggest here.

I think you are missing the point of a discussion forum. Anyways who to say its not you who are being negative in the first place. You are suggesting change in a game that if a person likes the game as it is, then the suggestion of change could be thought of as negative.

I like your ideas to add more variety to the game, but some of the incentives could use a little work. For the nomad, bandit and zombie slayer, you have suggested achievement type things, I think this could easily detract from the whole point of the game and end up with certain people just using the game as a tool to gain achievements. Again the bandit, the sanity meter thing has been discussed at length and widely disregarded as unrealistic. I think it would be very hard to implement anyways because how does a computer program know your reason for killing someone? how does a computer program determine if a death is for a good cause or a bad cause etc..

nope. ZedsDeadBaby: If you are going to continue talking about law, you could at least reply to my post where I questioned your knowledge of the subject. Let me remind you. When talking about reasons for a court case, you mentioned a few things and I replied questioning if you had covered the mental aspect of it.

So you do actually agree with me that they would in fact go off path without maintenance. So is it possible that you know the timeframe from actual evidence or are you just making it up ?

Im not sure what you are asking for, as far as im aware DayZ would like to be as realistic as possible. Taking this feature out would be unrealistic.

Achievements have been discussed in many threads. While some like the idea. My view is that it removes the simple act of playing the game because some people will only be using it as a tool to gain those achievements.

as far as im aware, GPS satalites need constant positional data uploaded to them to maintain their orbit. If this maintenance was stopped then it would only be a matter of days or weeks before they became useless for the purposes of global positioning.

For those having trouble making any sense of this. I think the point is that the textures on the mushroom may appear to look a bit like a priest. However, I will not be presenting this to any children at Easter.

I think with the current options for degrading of another player then adding children would be akin to asking for a law suit which effectively shuts down your whole business.
