ok I will give that a try tonight.

pulled an M4 off a dead guys body and it had a scope attached I believe it is the T3N RDS Optics although in the game I am pretty sure it had a different name in the game and the name had "IRNV" in it but the name above I got off the Dayz wiki cause the scope image in the wiki looked just like the one I have and no other scope in the wiki looked like this one.. When I zoom in with it the view looks like its looking under the gun. Is this a glitch/bug or am I missing something? Link to image of what I am seeing is below. In game the scopes details show that it is in pristine condition so I don't believe that it is related to damage. No your just making false claims about specifics of what might be in the log, the developers have complete control of what goes in the log. It could just be as simple as : you spawned on the east coast, you found a can of beans, you were killed by "SoandSo", etc...

How would that be abused? What's someone going to do with a text log showing events that took place. My main interest was to see what players killed me so I could create a blog about each incident.

Its just as far, it takes quite a bit of time to walk from the northern east coast to either of the areas that you may actually get a weapon and if you get anywhere near a town of any real size there's always some idiot just sniping people for fun. And don't even get me started about the hackers. And before you say "There are no hackers" Google it.

I ran for 3 hours straight in real time just to get to a dam air field and military base just to get a weapon which I did and some other stuff like camo clothes and ammo only for it all to be taken away because I switched from a server that was night time to one that wasn't. This just a joke, its bad enough we paid to play the alpha but when crap like this happens by design it just makes it not worth playing anymore. Its bad enough that you cant even hardly play because of all the idiots that just kill you on site or for sport and when you finally start making some headway it all gets taken away. What ever happened to a level playing field. Totally disgusted at this point with this game.

Guess these rules are not getting enforced at all right now I just saw a server that had in the Title "Clan XXX only, regulars will be kicked instantly". Wouldn't this be considered cheating so to speak since they are letting only their clan members on the server which means they get all the good weapons they can and then go on public servers and rape everyone to death. I just don't see how this game is not going to get ruined by the kiddies. I was on a server last night minding my own business in a house and BAM! I was dead, then I heard some little noob telling his daddy I just killed someone and his father replying "what did he do to you?" and the kid replied nothing I just shot him, shoot first ask questions later. Unfortunately this has already become the nature of the game, I doubt this is really going to take off very well once people find out that's all thats going on and they wont even have a chance to enjoy the game.
