    Rolling Update Rev - 0.43.116251

Hmmz.. It's nice and all, you coming to my defense.. But please, don't :) First of all, I can take care of it myself.. But more importantly, if you talk about showing respect, you need to show respect, to earn it. What you just wrote, even though the intention is good, is horribly disrespectful and rude...

You wont read in here what the devs have in store for us. They use twitter/reddit/tumblr for that. This is a discussion forum, about the latest stable patch. Glad you're showing patience though, and like you, even with bugs, I love the game as well :)

    I'm glad you're not them...

    Rolling Update Rev - 0.43.116251

You'll notice 2 types of people here. - There's people who remain positive and show patience with the development of the game. We ( yes, I'd like to believe I fit in this category ) know fixing bugs takes time, we know adding new content ( hats, weapons, buildings etc ) is easier than it is to fix problems in the core mechanics of the game. We take these bugs for granted, and we hope that these get fixed in due time. We are not fanbois, devfans etc etc, we give credit where credit is due, and we give positive(!) criticism where needed. - There's the other group, who constantly complain about bugs the devs are fully aware of. Those who take every oportunity to bash at the devs, or those in the first group of people for defending the devs. These people show only impatience, negativity and rude behavior overall. These people have no clue about huge projects and/or development ( games or any kind of development ) and what it means to work against the clock. They show no respect towards the community and the developers. Now.. You ( and everyone else ) may want to change your attitude a bit more towards the first group, show respect to those who deserve respect. tl;dr No one here is pretending to be a dev ( even if some of us are ), we're only trying to be respectful

They dont bounce around the problem, they're working on a hotfix. The fact that there is no fix (yet), shows that the problem is probably bigger than they thought. It's probably very frustrating to the devs, that the question you ( and many others ) ask, and keep asking. And it's not helping in any way, asking for an ETA on a fix...

    Rolling Update Rev - 0.43.116251

There was a version on experimental 0.42.xxxx before, which had desync/network issues. Devs had it corrected on a experimental 0.42.xxxx and pushed it to stable 0.42.116181. I'm pretty sure that it's not working on stable, as it did on experimental. YES, there are network/desync/rubberbanding issues, THAT does not make the whole patch a fail! Instead of always looking at the negative side of things, try and post some constructive criticism. Maybe find out which servers are causing issues ( I have problems on gameservers.com and gamingdeluxe hosts, but I have NO problems on fragnet servers! Maybe they're running the same hardware on experimental, as they do at fragnet, which is why there are no issues there? ) You are playing an alpha, experimental or stable, it should not make a difference as to what you can expect. Gamebreaking issues are what you agreed to, when you bought the game. Even if there's stable servers, devs/Bohemia cannot guarantee an optimal environment, nor would they need to at this stage of development. Play stable or experimental, and report issues accordingly on the feedback tracker. Whining, shouting, swearing, or whatever goes on on these here forums, will not affect the development of the game in any way. ( edit servername )

what do you mean, fail patch? It's an amazing patch! Just because it has some bugs, doesn't make it a fail ( bet your parents didn't ask for a do over, when you were born )

These are 2 different issues. Your first statement, is not true. You can indeed shoot someone in the leg, and break his/her leg with one shot. As for standing somewhere, and your legs all of a sudden getting broken, that is a bug and already reported on feedback ( I've had it happen to me as well, at NWAF in a police station )

Sadly, I stand corrected on not having any issues in this stable patch.. For me, when playing on any server on gameservers.com or villayer, I completely lag out. No matter how many people are playing on that server at the time. Zombies come running from miles away, just to kick my butt :) Anyways, logged on near ( approx 1km away from ) Balota airfield, and getting the actual game to show took a pretty long time ( also with "waiting for host" message ), and as soon as I was ingame, I saw my screen going gray/black/white ) and I heard I was being hit, without seeing anything. A zombie was wailing on me. I managed to run away, and bandage myself. A friend logged in as well, and as he was trying to give me saline ( which we found out, didnt work ), I was being hit again.. At some point, I passed out and died. Not sure if its server/host related, but logging into a different server ( that didnt state it was hosted by a big company ), and with fewer people online ( around 8-10 ), I had no issues. I managed to get mostly geared up again in about 4 hours on one server, so all is not lost :) Lets just keep our fingers crossed our Devs know where the problems are, and they are fixed at some point ( no rush ). Until then, I'll try to avoid the big hosts, and full servers, and just enjoy the scenery and slay some zombies with my BLACK axe :D

Lmao... You put 4 or 5 issues/questions in this one post, that have been asked and answered several times. Go read the forums, dev blogs, and fan sites, and you'll find your answers...

Well, sucks this is a public forum, and anyone/everyone has a right to their opinion. My opinion about your post: This is ALPHA! Don't like it? There's the door, and don't let it hit you on your way out... Buhbye now

I dont play on exp., so I can't comment on that... For me, absolutely fine, better fps and less desync than last stable. What if you try on lower pop. servers? I played for 3 hours with no problems at all. No lag, no desync, and best FPS I've seen in game so far ( 40+ everywhere )

^ this @ Angel_Dust: Maybe you should learn to read, and go through several forum threads, because what Ellen Ripley just posted has been said too many times already. Which is why I said "here we go again"..

  22. Yes, something like that would work...
  23. Yes, but that would be efficient...
  24. Sorry Boneboys, but I understand for you ( as forum administrator ) it should be easy enough to filter these 95 pages on what I have been writing ( as well as Sniperdoc ), and see what this discussion is about. Even though I appreciate every single post made by the devs, and the effort that is being put into developing the game, and everything thats being done to fix bugs / roll out patches to experimental and stable servers, this discussion is about how ( not the amount of information given ) information is shared with the community. I have been defending my point of view for the last several pages in this thread, yet its falling on deaf ears ( or ignorance from some forum members ). I'm not asking to be kept fully in the loop on everything thats going on. I'm not demanding anything, or feel entitled to anything because I paid for an early alpha release ( as someone suggested I was ). I'm merely suggesting a change on how the information that IS shared, to be more uniform and in a single, easy to read/understandable, format, here on the forums. This suggestion is to PREVENT threads like these to overflow with the same questions that are asked every other page, because people dont want to go through a 95page thread, or a Devtracker that just shows tweets from individuals working at Bohemia.. This is also my last post in this thread with this suggestion, I think I can't be any more clear about my point of view. Do with it what you want, I'm sick of some individuals here attacking me personally, on something I suggest, which I think would benefit everyone who cares about what is going on with the game, but dont have time to search/read through several sources. You ( devs/moderators/admins etc ) can make it so much simpler, yet you dont. If you dont care about ( even if its a small portion ) your community, why do I even bother...?

Can I play DayZ with this setup for now.

I play on an i5 3.2ghz, but similar graphics card and ram.. I get around 30 fps everywhere, with spikes to 50-60 fps in woods
