I could care less if people dupe gear, play how you want to play. The way I see it, one way or another they'll get a gun and we will end up doing PVP. However, if they're glitching into walls, glitching gear (unlimited ammo clips), or actually hacking, thats a whole other story. The other day I came across a guy trying to kill me in Electro. He walked all the way up to the top floor of the hospital, unloading his M4 every step of the way without reloading. Luckily, I ducked down and he must have been hip firing because it only took me 3 shots to kill him with my M4. I went to loot him when I realized he not only had no numbers on his dual-mag but his ammo crate had stacks of 2k+ M4. My point, anyone can get a gun, but once you taking it a step further and actually hacking or changing the game, thats where you should be banned in my opinion.

Last night my group ran into a kid (yes a kid, we know because of voice chat) whom possessed seemly unlimited ammo for the M4 and certainly used some form of the ESP hack. He was running around the server firing in every player's direction and getting kills left and right. We don't believe he was using aimbot due to the amount of missed shots, but it is possible he was using a terrible version (maybe?). My question is, unlimited ammo is new to me, I didn't see anything show up in a quick forum search, does anyone know if this is the latest thing? I mean, the kid had to have shot off thousands of rounds, just don't see how he could store that much.

Yeah, I hear and agree with you completely. But in the meantime it seems like more and more are coming out. I guess its to be expected, every game has them, just doesn't make it any better knowing that.

Walked into a building and ran into a guy who had an M4 at his side. As I watched him shoulder his M4 with a look of panic in his eyes, I panicked and begin to also aim my revolver towards the man standing before me! Walking backwards as fast as my legs would let me, I TUG AT THE TRIGGER for what seems to be an eternity, shots ring out towards the man! But at the same time, this man whom I just met, he too is firing his weapon! Suddenly I think...I got him! I'm sa...f.....*black screen -- YOU ARE DEAD -- My unbelievable discontent is ended shortly as I think to myself - I must have got him too at this distance! I hit the ESC key that allows me to see whats in front of my now dead character to discover none other that that man whom I just met....had indeed been shot and was on the ground! With a sense of content I hit "caps lock" and through my mic I say .... "So.....you ughh....you friendly?" and to my surprise I hear a response shortly after "Yeah....yeah I'm friendly." Just another day in the wonderful world of DayZ....

Figured others had similar stories, stuff like this is what really pushed me over the edge to move forward and purchase the game!

We ran into someone using the hack which shows a box around the user and their name. The scrub kept saying our in game names and what we were doing over VOIP. We ended up hopping servers and ran into another hacking that was invisible, he killed two of us =/.

This is incorrect, most EULA(s) will not hold up in court and publishers know this, its a scare tactic for the most part. In fact, some states have laws in place to which immediately void agreements such as this, specifically for scenarios such as this. In short, if I'm a publisher and I force you to agree to not bring me to public court regardless of circumstance, in order to play my game, you could agree and easily bring my to public court. Of course, there is more to it than this, but you get the idea.

Though many this one is by far the best - When first starting the game I was checking a construction site for any loot at the top floor. A guy ran into me and immediately ran down stairs yelling "Don't kill me! I'm friendly! Friendly! Friendly!" while screaming I responded "Don't worry bro, I got a little extra food and there is a backpack up here if you want it"....He came back up stairs swinging a fire axe, I immediately yelled "CEASE AND DESIST! CEASE AND DESIST! AHHHHHH" running for dear life....My toon happened to be a girl so I said "You wouldn't kill a women would you!!!!???" He of course responded, "You're obviously a guy, feel my wrath" (valid point), but I turned around to watch him fall off the stairs and break both legs.... a zombie at that point ran up and hit him so I killed the zombie and he didn't have bandages. I offered to heal him if he took off his pants, drop the axe and said sorry.... He took off his pants along with the axe and I handcuffed him, bandaged him up and said "see that wasn't so hard, was it!". He then thanked me and as I walked away I realized, I didn't have a key to uncuff him. I told him "oops" and he said "what?", my final response was "oh nothing, lets get you out of those handcuffs....."*as I equipped the axe*.....
