I have also re installed it about 6 times as well as switching between normal and the experimental branch :( Edit: i decided to re install it again this time i deleted it from steam like normal and then deleted its folder from the steam directory as well as the one in the documents and it now works.

Hi today i went to play Dayz but when i press play it flickers on a blacks screen for a second and then goes back to desktop without any error messages. i have gone into the game folder and checked the Disable desktop composition option in the compatibility tab but this did not do anything either. Any help much appreciated Thanks.
