this is on purpose, before you could shoot 29/30 bullets in your 5 stanag SD mags, log out and log back in and POOOF instant full ammo, now there's a chance you loose it all -

when you pick up a CZ, it is set to 300 meters...so if you shoot at something 100 meters away the bullet will go higher than where you are aiming...simple logic really.

good video, but you can also find stuff on the ground...have not seen anything further than 3 feet from the body, just crouch and scan the ground more than you should with middle mouse. -

Still, its too dark at night unless the moonlight is working. Simple fix really, just fix the moonlight so it always works, and put a cap on gamma DUUURRRR -
Two of us found a bus, fixed it up, and brought it to a secluded area with a tent, and some sandbag barricades. We started a fire, marveling at what we had accomplished, less than 5 minutes after the bus is repaired, 2 choppers show up with people intending to steal our bus. They lost 3 men in the fight, we both died and then got "requesting info" crap. Very saddening. Kind of weird but i have heard rumors of a map hack and this screams it, we were secluded.

Shot a bandit in the back on the beach 1 minute after i spawned, he had NVG, 1911, all the gear i could need, and the best was his suppressed m4 with red dot and 7 mags. Had that guy for 2 days. also have found an m16 with ACOG and an m9 suppressed

NO, someone could join the damn NO PVP server, go to northwest get NVG and a suppressed m4, then go back to coast. Disconnect and rejoin a pvp

I would recommend you re-download the mod files. Then you need to make sure its in /arma2operationarrowhead/@dayz/addons in your steam. I see you said its in the arma2 folder and not the OA folder so that is likely the problem Go to your steam library and right click OA and go to properties, click set launch options and add -mod=@DayZ give steam a restart try the game, if it doesn't work or you get an error verify integrity

multiple characters is a bad idea. Imagine if a guy has 2 or 3 characters at NW airfield and you shoot and kill him, he loggs out and reconnects with his other character at NW airfield then kills you. It would be very easy to abuse multiple characters :D
