Title^^ To me it seems pretty unrealistic that badly damaged rice would be the equivalent of a bag of pristine rice, you'd think that the badly damaged one would be at least be missing rice or at least cut open or maybe even stale, just wondering if there's any word on this by Dean or any comments/confirmations on this already.

I had completely forgotten about Rocket's stream today, I managed to catch it at about 8:27 A.M.(Central Time U.S) when Rocket had finished his presentation with upcoming features and modes for the admins to choose from, he asked if anyone had any questions, what I realized was that only one person out of the eight or nine people only one person asked about character customization. Rocket responded by saying that putting your own face on your character was a bit iffy, because of the inappropriate things that people would do, he said that he was thinking of beards and other things that you could do but he never confirmed anything about more in-depth character customization. I wanted some feedback on this or at least a word or two because it's been a very interesting subject to me since I got the game back on December 28th. I wanted Rocket to shed some light on the subject of character customization, examples would be; hair color(Head), hair styles(Wavy, straight, pony tails for girls, short hair, etc), facial features, ear size, ear type, chin type, nose type, eye type, eye color, type of eye-brows, choosing the height of your character, the weight of your character. At the moment I'm feeling a sense of indifference in the game because I look at everyone's characters and they are not unique at all, the only thing that basically changes is your skin color and your face, bodies are pretty much the same, etc.. It's basically the same five people with the same characters running around nude in Elektro. If some developer or maybe Rocket himself could shed a little bit of faith into this subject that would be really great! :) Thanks!@

Well that's what it's pretty much come to, the game right now is basically get all the high-end gear you can and head to Elektro for a death match.

For what purpose? It's meant to be an MMO, at least I'm sure it's supposed to be one, with all these updates coming to DayZ character customization hasn't been a touchy subject by Dean.

Well, you never know the game is barely in it's 10th patch in Alpha. Expect anything ;)

I agree with that as well, my original post was comparing something like the Xbox Live avatar system, being able to do height, weight, eye color, etc

Rocket himself has already confirmed that if everything in the experimental branch goes as planned, they will release the hot-fix to fix to the stable branch and it will fix all of the de-sync problems.

Am I the only one having this problem? I have been waiting on to get into La Cantina 24/7 for about three minutes now

I'm not much for story telling so I'll try to keep this short and simple... There was three guys not wearing pants or t-shirts as we were approaching Kambiwobo, all they had were just UK Assault Vests one even had the old regular Assault Vest that was taken out of the game, me and my team of three approached the unarmed three and asked them if they needed supplies, no reply, we then asked again and no reply. One of my friends was getting worried about the three guys that didn't respond, they had nothing but Assault Vest's on them. My friend then proceeded to aim his gun at them next thing that happened my friend died and these 'teleporter's' managed to teleport behind my friend WE ALL SAW THIS!!!! We all opened fire and started shooting but they didn't even die, they just stood there and took bullets and bullets, remember they had nothing on them, my friend went unconscious and the other two naked men in front of me pulled out a Mosin with all the possible attachments and the other one took out an M4 and they shot on us and we died. THEY HAD NOTHING ON THEM!! ALL THEY HAD WERE ASSAULT VESTS, my friend retreated and the naked man with the M4 teleported in front of him and shot him. I thought BattleEye-anti cheat was supposed to stop things like this from happening, this has never happened to me before and I hope it doesn't again because it is absurd how stuff like this is allowed in the game EDIT: We all had ZERO desync and our pings were all around 32-56, servers ping was around 67 and it was a US Central server with around 31/40 players EDIT2: Kambiwobo= Kamyshovo :|

Hey OP, I've had this similar problem and so has my friend, we would constantly find gear just to log off for about an hour and come back on to see our characters deleted happened about 4+ times(tested). There is an easy fix to this solution and it seems to have a permanent effect, so here's what you do. MAKE SURE YOU EXIT OUT OF DAYZ BEFORE COMPLETING THESE STEPS! >Locate a folder on your computer called "Documents" it's usually located on "My Computer" >Once you've located the folder labeled documents go to "DayZ" and there should be two names there one labeled your steam name or any previous names you used to have an example would be mine Zachary.vars" another file named "Zachary" and another one named "DayZ.cfg" >Delete all these files or any other ones that you may have had in there, basically the only file your going to have in there is a folder named "Saved", don't delete that, delete everything else except that. >Once you are done, your all set, go ahead and start up DayZ again, your going to have to set up your DayZ settings again, video, graphics, rendering, etc and you have to set your character up again and make sure to press set default. >Play DayZ and your done! :D NOTE: IF YOUR CHARACTER IS SAVED FROM WHENEVER YOU LOGGED OFF PREVIOUSLY KILL YOURSELF IMMEDIATELY, DO NOT LOG OFF THIS WILL LOOP THE SAME PROCESS AGAIN AND YOU HAVE TO REPEAT THE STEPS ABOVE TO STOP YOUR CHARACTER FROM RESETTING. ONCE YOU HAVE SUCCESSFULLY COMMITTED SUICIDE CLICK "RE SPAWN" AND THIS WILL FIX THE PROBLEM.

After the new patch I can't seem to find any in the bedroom of the red houses that spawn used to spawn medical kits, anyone know where else they spawn or if they do spawn anymore?

Just curious, because it is nearly impossible for me to find a Long Range Scope for the Mosin.
