The other night my fiancé was playing and had just respawned after I unknowingly led her to a death trap (that I miraculously survived. I'm a terrible person) and some guy with an m4 started yelling at her to show him some tits. After she started talking on VoIP he realized she was actually a girl and not just playing one and he felt terrible and gave her a bunch of food lol

At least you aren't getting repeated different Battleye issues like me. First BE wouldn't respond, fixed that. Then a week later BE fails to update, fixed that. What will happen to Battleye next?!?! ;)

I died at the top of an atc tower once too, without hearing a gunshot, but assumed it was a sniper anyways because even if they aren't far away enough, I've noticed gunshots don't always register a sound. Unless you were on a server with no one I would continue to assume its a sniper. I know I've camped airfields with a mosin and LRS a few times on low pop servers waiting for server hoppers to log in and get their rewards for hopping. Lucky for them I get bored after 15-20 min usually. Like has been said, I would join a server with 0 people... Maybe join a nighttime server and try it. At the very least it will be harder for them to judge their shot in the dark even with a gamma exploit

Personally I'd like a leg holster if they go that route but either would be ok with me. Sadly I think they will view it as we already have enough storage on a character

It's a bug, but a good one. I can't find a pristine press vest to save my life, but every time I find one I let a zombie hit me and it becomes pristine. 100% confirm this has worked for me like 3 times now.

It may not be the same problem I had. If it just started, wait a day. Your net connection may just be wonky right now. Mine started when the current patch dropped

I had this happen to me. Only way I fixed it was completely removing all of steam and dayz files from my computer and reinstalling. And seriously, I am not trolling. I was fighting this for a week and a half going back and forth with BE support before attempting this and thankfully it worked because my next step was reformatting my hard drive. I had literally tried every other option. Good luck to you.

I'm over 300 hours on the game now and I've only found approx. 2 walkie talkies, and I search a lot of different areas for things. Where do you even find these things?

My friend caught the dim mak from a zombie today, with full health and full blood. They are getting a little op now, but it's nice. Actually makes you pay attention to them and not aimlessly run around without a care in the world.

I think they should team up with blizzard and make all zombies sound like murlocs... Because then they would be scary. And their development time would be about the same! :D I kid, I kid. Blizzard is still slower

I tend to keep mine halfway, but when I'm scoping out a town, I change it briefly to be able to see a bit farther in, and change back when the coast is clear and I'm heading in

Zombies are great right now in my opinion... I hadn't had much issue until just now I where I ha decided to carry two weapons and I couldn't really outrun them. I ended up having to watch behind me and dodge to the side when they did their death leap, or I'd get hit. At one point I had 7 chasing me. There are some issues, of course... At the same time I had a parade going on I was with my friend on teamspeak. He was down in Elektro talking to some other guy in a house, pretty much having a standoff. Out of nowhere, a zombie leapt at him through a wall and one-shot him. Full health and everything. He didn't even have a chance to move. Personally, I like that they actually pose more of an issue now than ever, but they shouldn't be this powerful until the pathing issues are worked out and they actually have to go in through doors to get into buildings. I'm fine with one hit making you bleed and them running the same speed, but there has to be a way to get away from them without killing them first, other than running upstairs and letting them glitch through the stairs below you. If they can follow basic parameters of not going through walls and closed doors, then not shutting the door and just running upstairs should still be an issue because they will actually make contact with the floor and chase you upstairs as well. Just my 2 cents

So it started with a long trek across the countryside to meet up with a friend in Berezino. I was almost there and some bandits had him holed up in a pub. He saw them leaving heading toward the trainstation and went after them. He killed one and the other ran off. Meanwhile I reached the pub he was at and went upstairs to find a guy in camo laying on the floor. He started shooting before I fully went around the corner, so I peeked and unloaded into him but he apparently hit my leg in the process. After using my morphine, my friend came running in with a guy laying down glitched, chasing him and punching. It took an entire amphibia mag to put him down. Then we go to the police station where I ran into another guy and we both hesitated when I came around a door, then shot and killed eachother. Started running back while my friend guarded my body Another friend logged in shortly after at the apartment buildings near the grocery and shot a guy trying to flank him, so I skipped over and stole his gear instead. After we hung out on the rooftops for a while, another friend logged in and my fiancé got home and logged in as well. Got mobbed by fresh spawns at one point which ruined my new LRS when I got hit with a hoe but we lived. I was constantly getting thirst messages so my fiancé and I ran to the other apartment buildings to use the fountain. Came around a corner and caught a glimpse of someone on the roof a bit too late. Shots fired, I'm bleeding and my arm's broken. I hid behind the wall but she wasn't as lucky. She gets knocked out, and after I bandage I run over to bandage and epi-pen her and almost around the corner I get knocked out as well. She bleeds out, I somehow woke up. By then the rest of my team was moving in. I took my fiancés m4 and would occasionally peek around the corner and fire at them as a distraction. One of our guys got into the other apartment to get to the roof, and our snipers were out in the field. Then magically, we saw a guy login on the rooftop with them, and apparently wasn't their friend because they started shooting eachother. Snipers took out the last guy, and the day was saved. Then one of our guys got chased around by 6 new spawns with crowbars and fire extinguishers, but that's a story for another time. tldr: killed some people, got killed, came back and killed some more people. Cool story bro. God that was long typing up on my phone. ;)

You ain't kidding. Last few times I played we'd end up on a full server sitting in Berezino for an hour only seeing maybe 2 Bambi's the whole time. Glad today didn't let me down. Could always go to Elektro but 90% of Elektro is people shooting fresh spawns or fresh spawns punching eachother to death

Well that does blow. May have to try reinstalling. Unless someone else has an idea. I was having problems with Battleye not responding recently and the only thing that fixed it for me was completely reinstalling both DayZ and steam. Good luck

I can understand not putting a backpack with contents in it in another backpack, but putting a small taloon backpack in a mountain pack to give to a friend should be an option. Just sayin... But yeah, this was disabled

Tried dying and respawning? Running out of options here lol Or... Maybe switch to hardcore (or normal if you're on hardcore) and see if it follows you that way

I can't seem to find them for shit.. I found 3 FNX45s, a 1911, and 3 CR75s in around 3 hours... And not a single magazine. Then I at least managed to find an amphibia with 2 magazines not far from it, but it almost seems to me like someone probably dropped them there because that thing is just awful. Half a mag just to kill a zombie (pretty sure 2 were headshots at least unless the aim glitched or desync) and that was just to test it. So I'm dropping it to stick with my sawed off until I find a magazine for the 1911 I kept

Are you actually in a room you're supposed to be in or did you get stuck in a wall glitch and can't get to the door in question? Sorry for stupid questions, and not saying you're intentionally glitching, just trying to narrow it down

Snapped back into a room? Check. Had it happen 10 times in a row on the ship last night... And on the ship, that is scary shit. Things disappearing and appearing in another room? Check. Only when I couldn't find it I just gave up and wrote it off. Moved 5 feet and I got teleported to the same room as the item I dropped. Also scary shit. Haven't had the gun issue happen in a while though :)

It's pretty widely known at this point that the LRS doesn't work on the SKS but I do agree it shouldn't even let you attempt to put it on there if it's not going to work. I know when I first started playing I thought I could put a LRS on an M4 and it just wouldn't let me, nothing got destroyed.
