Today, I ran into elektro with nothing. I went straight to the school, third floor. Found a Mosin, and a compensator. Found myself some ammo. Found another player going into the school, followed him. He said "Don't shoot I'm friendly" I said... "I'm friendly too, please don't kill me" He ran outside and I ran too. We chatted for a bit, he asked if I needed anything I said no, I asked if he needed anything and he said no. He started to say his goodbyes and I said wait! I have something for you hold on, let me drop it. Pulled out my mosin and shot him in the chest. He died. I said, on second thought I want your backpack and food and that was the end of that. Is this type of playing frowned upon? What's wrong with it? I always see people complaining about bandits. I didn't KoS him, I tricked him into thinking I was friendly then killed him and took his gear. What's so bad about that? Isn't that one of the ways DayZ is meant to be played? Betrayal is fun.

Feelsgoodman.jpg I was in school, top floor. He was on the roof beside the doorway, he heard me run up here. I used third person mode to detect him, saw him standing there with gun in arms. He started moving.. I peeked outside into the hallway shot him 10 times with my m4. Looted his body and took his pristine T3N RDS scope, perfect since I was using iron sights. I'm really glad he wasn't able to combat log. Makes every fight that much more intense. I bet he's sooooo pissed he can't server hop to gear up a new character right away. He lost everything. GG

I play both.. When I get too geared on 3PP or my friends log off, I go play 1PP.

there was a fight cause he knew i was there before i knew he was there. He was already aiming his gun in my direction and I came out when he tried to move positions, he even fired his gun but never hit me and 0.5 seconds after he fired i had killed him.

it's not like i did it on purpose, i was in third person mode and the game is alpha so the camera see's through walls and stuff and i noticed him. i didn't even know he was on the roof before i got into that room. maybe when dean decides to fix it you all can come back to regular servers.

Just because you're not payed doesn't give you any right to act the way you do towards other members. Try to be a little more respectful.

Please try to be a little more professional when replying to members of the community. You honestly aren't setting a very good example. Is there a way I can report feedback on your behavior? Your sarcastic and condescending demeanor is really not needed here. This member of the DayZ Forum Team is being very sarcastic and condescending towards members of this community, his attitude is completely unprofessional and down right insulting. I think he should be reviewed and considered for a demotion. I am not impressed at all and have feelings of regret in joining this community if this is the way their staff acts towards other members.

I'm fine with waiting, nice trying to be a snarky member of the DayZ Forum Team, really respectful and courteous. I'm impressed.

No servers to play on, only 40/40 servers and the rest are outdated previous patch servers that we can't join. GG

The God Tier Look consists of 3 essential items. everything else can be changed to your personal preference. First you will need a Burlap sack, easily found in many houses, fire stations and hospitals etc. Secondly, you'll need an M4A1, can be found in schools or military bases. and Third, perhaps the rarest and best item in the game, the Press Vest. Found in Train Stations.

damn.. the god tier look will never be the same without the burlap sack.... grrrrrr.

The character you see now is only 1-2 hours old.. I logged on ONE empty server and found all these items then ran back to elektro. Didn't have to server hop to get this geared at all. I've had tons of characters with this kind of gear lol. Just have to know what "time" to go out and gear a character... 5 AM for me is when all of the night time servers that no one joins become day time. The patch wipe won't bother me one bit, i'll probably die during PVP before the patch wipe anyways. :)

well i changed server like 10 times to see if i would get a char that wouldn't be erased. do you know when the char server will come back online? i want my old character back.

All the ruined food was still edible and I didn't have any issues, the backpack was ruined but I guess I didn't really need it anyway since I had one. He didn't really have much else, some handcuffs, a shotgun and some other stuff.
