A lot of games won't let you make topics about hacking, hackers, or the right term for them "cheaters" they aren't apart of the lizard squad are they? Why most games won't let you make topics about them? Well what good does it do? None, other than give them more publicity, publicity they clearly don't need nor deserve. Now don't get me wrong in regards to the controls, of course they need work and the input lag is bad but what game isn't? BF3 is one that comes to mind, then there's BF4, I know these are fps and not survival but we're not talking about that, we're talking about controls and how they don't respond like they should.

Anyone else noticed the new lowered weapon stance for pistols? You hold it down to your right side with 1 hand, looks cool.

Zombie shooter with survival? No, it's a zombie survival, surviving isn't suppose to be easy, if it's too hard for you, go play Sim City. Just because 1 person types this way doesn't mean everyone does. That'll be like me saying you guys over there are all fatties.

I don't know I'm not a game developer, are you? As for the rest of your comment, the controls might not be perfect but there is most probably a lot bigger issues on the top of their to-do list. I'm sure they'll get round to it soon enough.

You do actually, and with all other weapons. There's been many times I've been running and tried pulling a gun or melee weapon and my character stops. At least it's not every time but it happens and a pain in the rear when you're being shot at or munched on. But like I said (in so many words) there's a lot more things they need to worry about than some crappy controls.

Important game breaking bugs?

I have nothing to add here, other than what was said prior to me posting. However, I do have a question for you, what's with the capitals?

You said both, why mention something that isn't even a thing now? Oh and you could also wall glitch on 1st person servers, so what servers did you play on if you don't want to play on the "see through wall" servers?

ZAP has always been a good 1st person server, I hope it never dies out.

It could have been desync, probably not since the others were getting the same thing. If it is a hack then it's not new either. Just a few patches back my clan and I log into a high pop in Berezeno (6 of us) a few seconds later, one of us says "Ah shit I'm being hit" less than a second, someone else says the same "Ah fuck me too but there's no one near me" Within seconds all 6 of us are gushing blood, I pull my AR and just start shooting fresh air, we all spit up and run for our lives, all but 1 of us got out alive.

Try running auto config in the launch options. In Steam, right click "DayZ" and go to Properties Under the General tab look for "SET LAUNCH OPTIONS" In there type -autoconfig It should configure the resolution for you. If that fails, you'll just have to try and use the mouse to get to the settings and change it yourself. I usually have the exact same problem when I end up clicking on default in the settings lol. I've not used the autconfig thing myself but I'm sure that's what you need to type in. Good luck.

Yeah for some reason I forgot about the pickaxe. Also, the axe opens your food, it's the most versatile item you can carry.

Not going to happen, can't lock servers (well you can but it's not allowed) Once they introduce the private servers I'm sure you'll get all sorts of events cropping up all over the place.

Pitchforks have been known as one of the most useless melee weapons out there, the most common melee to use and usually really easy to find would be the hoe. Of course nothing is better than a fireaxe or a wood cutting axe.

Spent a few hours on the experimental 0.50 build, I have to say I'm liking it, not sure what's changed other than I'm actually surviving, food/drink (apart from wells of course) seem to be more scarce and I'm loving it. Spawned in Kamyshovo, done some looting didn't find much so in a down pour and with only a pickaxe and the t-shirt on my back I head for Elektro hoping to find some better clothing and food. I Get there, soaked, shaking and cold, I spend the next two days there, hoping to find something good, apart from the odd canned food and a soda or two, I don't find much. While looting I approach the "hotel" building opposite the church (I say hotel as that's what's on the front of it says, the one opposite the West fire station) when I hear some movement above me. I slowly move up to the top floor and peek around the door when I see this. So after taking a little beating I head for the Fire Station, climbing the tower I take a little peek outside and I see what I had just killed heading back for me lol. All in all, loving this .050 build, still no clue what's changed (apart from the movement animations of course) but seems a little more effort is needed to actually survive which in my opinion, is a good thing.

It only happened once and it was right after the patch was released so I'm just going to assume it was due to the servers being unstable due to the update. If I get any more crashes I will put them on the bug tracker.
