Yeah it's rather common actually, friends and I call it the "weapon glitch" it's related to desync and usually occurs when you join a server after the person who has their weapon out. To get out of it simply put your weapon away, pull your melee, put it away and get your weapon back out.

I seen a few posts from some of the DEVs saying that due to the "security" of dayZ (working on better hack detection and finding the hacks already out there) has put them a month or 2 behind so on that alone I'm going to assume that Beta is not going to be here by December and vehicles won't come before that, not to mention we're still waiting on barricading. My prediction (That's all any of us have right now) is we'll get vehicles within the first few months of the new year and Beta will follow soon after. Also, we don't need vehicles any sooner than needed, I mean get them as bug free as possible before letting us have them so take as long as they need. (same goes for any new implementation of new stuff)

See that's where you are wrong, you paid $30 towards the development of the game and in return you are allowed to help find, test and report any and all issues you might find, also you get to keep the game when it's fully released. If you can't handle the bugs that are with this Alpha then you're in the wrong place. Go uninstall and come back in a year or so.

Not entirely true, I've got healing with out being hydrated, if you eat mostly foods that have some hydration (Peaches, Beans, Sardines and such) you can get to healing with out being fully hydrated. Healing is when you're body is regenerating blood, healthy is achieved when you've fully regenerated all it's blood which also means you can get healthy without even seeing healing.

As far as I understand it the game in it's current state is very depended on CPU, not GPU, so yeah the card wouldn't make a difference right now.

In all honesty, I would rather them take longer and release stuff that isn't going to be game breaking when it goes wrong than have them rush it and cause more and bigger problems and we're left with nothing while they try to fix it.

It should be made a requirement to have a mic to play DayZ, the way I see it is you're putting yourself and the person who's trying to communicate with you at risk while you sit there typing. The person could think you're just being rude and not answering them and they might try to kill you, or they could think you're communicating over TS/skype/mumble/or what ever other software there is to get back up to kill the person trying to talk to you. Also, how loud do you speak if you're worried about waking your kids up in the next room? Also why are you playing in bed when your wife is asleep? I get it, you don't wanna wake the wife or kids, so get out of bed and play in another room, I'm going to assume you have a living room / lounge / what ever you want to call it, go play there bedrooms are for baby making and sleep, not gaming, use your mic lol.

Yeah I think if you cut a tree and it lands on someone then it should cause damage, break a limb at least. They should have some sort of physics, rolling down a hill or what ever, they should also make a noise, like wood splitting as it's falling, then a thud as it lands with some cracking branches and such. Planting trees could be an idea but I think planting berry bushes would be nice, so I guess they should allow us to plant apple trees as well. Edit: misleading title, I thought this was about combat loggers, hugging or killing them.

I think it depends on the situation, if I needed warmth I'd probably ask to join them (But then again I can make my own fire) If I had some meat and need to get warm, again I might ask to join and cook some food with them (Again, I can do that on my own) The chances are I'd leave them be, I wouldn't shot them unless I had no choice.

I do that with any weapon I find that I don't need, just a couple of hours ago I threw one Carbine bolt action rifle, one shotgun, one 1911 Engraved and a speed loader for Magnum in to the sea on Cherno docks.

Your best weapon to take out zombies is either an wood cutting axe, fire axe, hoe or a pickaxe, shooting zombies will just make it a harder for yourself, guns don't need to be easier to find, it's a survival game and surviving isn't suppose to be easy. I can't say zombies were ever a 1 hit kill to the head with your fists, nor should it be like that. Stop being a idiot and work for you stuff, stick to 1 server and move around, I'm getting bored popping server hoppers in the head when they spawn in Police stations or on airfields.
