So um not sure if this is the best place to post this but I will... So me and at least of my clan mates were tearing it up in Elektro for a good few hours, met a lot of others in there was well and apart from when I spawned in I did NOT get hit with the current FPS drop at all on experimental, I'm pretty sure they've fixed the problem. On a side note does anyone know if they've added or when the fix will be added to stable?

Well the freeze and fps drops for me is when it's raining and thundering. Played with about 4 other players yesterday for hours, there was no rain or thunder. Server restarts we all join the same again, now it's raining and the freezing and fps start dropping.

Nope, me and two other friends were playing on a server, no problem really, 1 unknown player joins, the sticky screen starts, frames drop from 30 to 5 and back up again, really bad desync then the two with me are shot, killed and respawned, one just logs off, the other is at kamyshovo making his way back to elektro, all the way back he's getting the same frame drop and lag spikes, only 3 people in the server, I'm in elektro hunting down the bandit so that's 2 in elektro, 1 in kamyshovo yet we're getting the same frame drops at the same time.

If the boat is so buggy (and clearly you know it) why even go there? Seems like another crying thread about the new log in and out timer.

Yeah I'm a killer, I axed a guy in the Balota airbase yesterday, just after I shot his friend. Here's the full story, I'm at the airbase with one of my clan mates when we run into some issues, every time we tried to leave the second hanger our game would crash. My friend decides that he's going to do something else as the spending 15 minutes waiting to spawn just to crash again wasn't worth it. (Yeah we tried 3 times each time we had the 300 second spawn in thing) I make a post on a the forums about it when another friend comes back on TS asking if we're still having problems and suggests I join him and 1 other clan mate on a different server hoping that'll fix itself. So I do thinking it's pointless but hey I was wrong, so I loot Balota base, and was heading back out when I get the second hanger (where we kept crashing) but this time it wasn't the .exe failing to respond it's a mosin round bouncing off my arm followed by M4 rounds, my mates are way over by Elektro, too far and probably pointless to make the run to me, so I wait it out in said hanger, it's getting dark, hard to see, I quickly bandage my wounds. Got my M4 pointed at the hanger entrance for a good solid 5 minutes before the M4 guy pops his head round, I dump 20 rounds from my 40 mag into his body while he hits me a few times, I somehow win the gun fight, bleeding again though and know his sniper friend is still watching for me to pop my head out. I again quickly bandage , things are going grey now, it's getting even darker (I can't see shit in the complete dark) A few more minutes pass when I get hit with the dreaded red chain, man this isn't good, just as that happens Mr. Mosin comes creeping round, I empty the rest of my mag into it, thinking he's dead, I'm updating my clan mates on the two confirmed deaths, when the guy starts getting back up, shit, I'm out of ammo, I didn't reload, fuck, what now? Oh wait I have my axe, so I start swinging at his head, he finally goes down and doesn't get back up. So yeah I'm a killer, but I do it for the right reasons.

I've never had an issue with my FPS until today. I don't know if it's the rain or if it's the "Optimization of synchronization of textures/materials" that was suppose to increase FPS slightly, but I start off with good FPS but after about 10 or so minutes playing I'm down to 0 FPS and the game locks up.

Another update on it's way? You guys must be robots, or like me and drink far too much coffee lol. Keep up the great work.

I'm using a 4-gamers Sony Playstation mic (USB) and it works fine.

So me and a friend went on to balota airbase and started our looting session from the East to West, upon entering the second hanger on the West side of the base, the game stops responding and and closes back to the desktop. This is never been an issue until now. We've tried 3 times and each time it just crashes. This is my second looting session at the airbase today and the first time we had no problems. The crash seems to happen when we turn to face the way out. Server IP: 199.189.85.110.2302

Really, KoS on the experimental servers? Sort of defeats the purpose don't you think? Since I don't really like running around on my own on the stable severs I thought I'd give the new patch a test. So I jump on a near full server (the only server that had room to be honest) I spawn nest two other guys, one just so happened to have a bike helmet on, the other just had the cloths on his back, I stay away for a while just watching what they are doing. I hear the guy with nothing but his cloths ask the other if they wanted to team up so I get my fists up and just sprint past him, now I'm between him and the one with the helmet. For the giggles I'm bending over while running and looking to the side, the guy behind is having a good laugh and I start speaking down the mic saying "I'm gonna get cha" speaking about the guy in front, he then stops turns round gets his fists out, I just processed to pass him, but keep an eye on what's doing behind me when I see him start hitting the other guy and knocks him out. I turn round and run back to help, I knock the guy with the helmet out and continue to beat on him until the other guy gets up, he then beats on him for a while before we start running for Kamyshovo.(is that how it's spelt?) We're pretty much starving to death by now but we stop at the water pump in Kamyshovo for a drink and start making our way to Elektro, on the way we have a discussion about cannibalism and if it would be added in game later and how our new friendship would last in our current situation as our stomachs growling violently, alarm bells start going off in my head, thinking this guy will probably kill me as soon as he gets a good enough weapon. In Elektro, my new found friend stumbles upon a kitchen knife, no big deal I'd probably get away if he tries anything with that but nothing happens so far, we then find a can of sardines and share it before looking for more food, we come across a zombie by the corner of the school house and the hospital, we work together beating this thing with our bare hands only to hear a guy shouting "Why are you beating zombies in that way?" as he runs from the fire house, he continues "It's against the rules" he then swings his axe at me, I some how managed to dodge his first swing, how ever the second doesn't miss and my screen goes black with the words "You are dead" I then hear a disturbing moan as he clearly kills my new friend. That was my first and only attempt at testing the new patch on the experimental, I mean really aren't they there for us to test and find any bugs or glitches that may have been overlooked? Why KoS on these servers?

He seen us kill a zombie killed us as soon as he was in range with an axe, not KoS? Okay.

Did you read anything I wrote? We had a kitchen knife between us and were KoS'd because we beat a zombie with our hands lol.

I'm playing with about 5 or 6 friends and we're getting a ton of desync on every server we play on, this started yesterday but was fine up until then, I can play on low pop servers on my own with no problems, is everyone else getting this problem? Our connections are fine and other games work fine.

My router is up to date, I can't see how my firewall would be causing problems after 70+ hours game play, No I'm running wired, I'm using Win 8, UK average ping is about 20ms On saying that I've just managed to play 3+ hours with about 5 friends and had no real big issues with it, maybe the servers were just having a couple of bad days and are starting to settle back down.

Thanks for the welcome. The day before yesterday we tried over 20 different servers, yes 20 lol, yesterday we tried about 10 and today (on my own and in a completely empty server) I'm still getting really bad desync I can't pick up items, I can't drop items I can't equip a weapon. Each day it seems to get worse and now it's impossible to play, I hope this update on the 5th/7th will make this a little better (I know it won't but we can dream right?)

So I'm in Balota Airbase looting away when I go into the jail house and head upstairs to the only enter-able room there, I see an item on top of the blue locker (closest to the outside wall) when I some how end up in the non-existent room next door and now I'm unable to get back out, what should I do? I don't want to start over yet again. Can we expect a character reset with this update?

Dying is apart of the game, if you get fully geared and don't want to lose it, log out and never play again. The only thing I hate and will rage about is being killed by a guy who's walking backwards into a wall vanishes into said wall and shoots me while my shots ricochet off of said wall.
