Just wondering, did you read the patch notes?

I've never understood why people are so hell bent on defending blatant cheaters.

I think they should be killed by damage to the head (as the OP said) it fits with all other zombie related stuff (TV/Film/Games) but then it'll make it harder for new spawns so that's why I think it should be damage to the head or include broken limbs such as legs so you can at least break their legs, with a bat or what ever, forcing them to crawl making it easier for new spawns to get away.

I stay on the same server and find my clan mates who'll feed me up and probably have a spare weapon or they've already took the guy out and hide my gear for me. Rage quitting isn't an option, nor is server hopping.

So played 0.42 for a few hours last night and the biggest problem I found was the lag, players rubber banding all over the place, doors taking ages to open, items taking ages to appear in my inventory, taking ages to either equipped or unequip an item/weapon. Other than the lag I didn't really find any bugs but then I didn't have the chance to test any new items, (full pop servers have no loot lol)

So basically I had to download 0.37 and then 0.42 in order to play experimental?

Okay I'm a bit confused, I just started downloading the experimental build (500+ Mb) once that was done I was about to launch the game when it started new update of 770Mb, am I downloading the experimental in two stages?

Is this 0.37 or you talking about the experimental 0.42?

Yeah same here, was in a squad of 7 and we're unable to join a server, the ones who haven't lost connection yet keep rubber banding back to a certain point and can't get past it.

So played the experimental branch last night with a few friends, first thing I notice is a small increase in FPS which is always good for me as I range between 20 and 25 (when not recording). The other thing I notice is it doesn't rain indoors now, which again is a really good for me, I can't run shadows on normal (my poor pc drops to 6 fps when they are on) and feared I may have to drop out of the game if it kept raining inside. Love the new stance with the fire axe (I'm sure it's the same for other melee weapons, however only had an fire axe at this time). looks cool and gives the impression of a more full force swing. Wasn't able to pick berries successfully as of yet, not sure if there's some sort of percentage set for the chances of finding any. Love the new Police stations, not had the chance to check the medical buildings yet. Not to mention playing on a 60 man server at almost full pop I didn't have the chance to loot anything from said Police stations. I'm so happy the "eat all" option was added, was just discussing this with my clan a few days/weeks ago. Makes eating a lot easier. There's a few other things but can't remember them off the top of my head, but I'd give this up date a 8/10 The reason for that is invisible players, I join on 2 friends, meet up but can only see one of them, the I couldn't see could see me but couldn't see the other guy where as I could. Not that big of an issue as we're teaming up. However later on in that play session, I was hit and killed a guy I couldn't see despite seeing him a few minutes before. He just disappears I start running from his last known location but was still struck several times before dying.

You can usually find them in the Fire houses.

What are they actually hacking? Writing code or changing game files isn't hacking. If these people were actually real "hackers" I'm sure they'll be spending their time on bigger and better things than a game. Like I dunno maybe hacking into someone's bank account, or stealing thousands of passwords and account details, including credit card details from big companies such as Sony, heck they might even hack into Government files. There's a clear line between a hacker and a cheater maybe you should learn it.

Well I think something like this is a good idea, not sure the best way to go about it but yeah something like this will help ID some of "not-so legit" players among us. It'll help towards identifying wall glitchers, aimbot users and so on. I'll give an example, was in Elektro shoool building when this dude thinks it's a good idea to try and punch me, I pull my magnum empty 6 rounds into him, he doesn't go down, I pull my FNX empty the mag into him, blood pissing out of him everywhere he still doesn't go down (I'm not the best shot but I'm not the worse) I pull my fire axe and charge at him, crack him on the head and the second I swing I get knocked out, I watch him loot me before coming to a few seconds later, I see his lifeless body next to me, strange I've been looted yet he's dead, I then start getting hit (screen flashes grey) I'm looking around (Oh I'm on the second floor by the way) I assume there's a zombie on the ground floor hitting me through the ceiling. So I run down to find a player rather than a zombie directly under where my body was. He starts swinging for me, lucky for me he only looted my axe and my magnum that I didn't have any ammo for, he left me the FNX that I had a few rounds left, so I'm running around outside of the school ejecting the mag from the FNX and reloading it, I get it loading and start firing, my screen is all grew not really being able to see well I miss a few rounds before I get him in the leg with my last few rounds, he goes down but not out. My FNX is empty now, I've got no ammo left at all, I've got no melee weapon but see a friend's body still lying there with a fire extinguisher still on him, I grab that and beat the fucker to death with it. So this guy is clearly using some glitch to hit through walls and/or ceilings but I have no clue who he is and therefore unable to report him. I had a similar issue just last night, me and 2 other friends join the experimental servers (on an 80 man server) when one of us starts getting shot at by the industrial area just outside of Elektro. Me and the other guy start making our way there when we see the guy who knocked out our friend, running along the street that runs along the right side of the hospital we go to engage but get hit with a real bad lag spike and he vanishes, I then hear a guy on direct chat talking to someone about someone else using a wall hack, I start heading towards the house I hear the chatter coming from. I circle the house only to be hit 2 or 3 times by what I can only describe as an invisible force, is this the guy who's using a wall hack? So again, I think something like this would be useful but how it's implemented, I have no idea

Yeah the two maintenances I've been through were 3 hours.

In a way I do think it's combat logging but on the other hand I don't think it is, the players you heard might have not been aware of you being up there and could have been taking cover after hearing shots. If they did know you were there and were friends of the two KIAs they should have taken you out long before you had the chance to log. I waited in 1 of the hangers in Balota Airbase for almost an hour because I took a Mosin round to the arm which was followed by M4 rounds, I took cover in the hanger fixed myself up and waited. I knew it was 2v1 and I was not popping my head out nor was I logging off. I waited and waited then the M4 guy comes in I gun him down and fix myself up. Still known there's the Mosin guy over by the 3 barracks on the other side of the base just waiting for me. It wasn't to long before he finally popped his head round, not sure if he thought I had log after killing his friend or not but he got gunned down, known that the area was clear now I ran for my life and met up with two of my clan mates who gave me a saline bag as I was black and white and carried on playing. needless to say the two enemy clan mates logged off once I killed the second.
