I hope they let us use the duct tape to tape someone's mouth which in turn will either prevent them from speaking or at the very least muffle the sound of their voice when they use direct chat.

I know it's lies, you know it and like you said anyone who actually reads up on the devblogs know it. However me being me I like to give these guys the chance to dig their own grave a little more each time they commen, nothing better than letting the rest of the community see how silly they are.

Not going to lie, if you came to me and said friendly while pulling a gun I'd be getting ready to drop you like a hot potato. But for you to say no one is friendly is an outright lie. I know a lot of friendly people who won't shoot unless shot at first, me included.

I said it once and I'll say it again, I'm not defending anyone here, all I'm doing is giving you my opinion on people who complain about a alpha game despite clicking "I Understand" every time they start the game. Do I get frustrated at this game? of course I do. Do I think the DEVs are the best out there? Of course not. Do I think they could do more quicker? Yeah but then I have no clue about coding a game, other than I know it's not easy. Do I come here to the forums and whine about it? No because I understand it's alpha and they are working on it. Who said it won't make it to beta by December, your opinion doesn't make it fact. What has that got to do with anything? That's like saying, you've not got 1,000 hours game time so you can't comment on anything in these forums.

See I knew you would say that, and no you're 110% wrong, they make it well aware what the game's state is, regardless of where you find it plastered all over. They did not make you spend your money did they? You made that choice, heck, if you did your homework before doing so I'm sure you'd find Dean's own comment telling people NOT to buy it, you still did and then bitch about it. I'm sorry but it's all your own fault. I'm not doubting the fact there's people out there scamming money in this way and just because there's a few who have done so doesn't mean every other game developer is doing the same. Like I said do your homework, Bohemia is a well know company so the trust is already there, Dean has his rep from the mod so again, trust is there, As for a regular Joe like yourself, I wouldn't look twice at your game because there's no background on what you've done, but if others want to back you then that's on them, it's their money. if you feel you've been taken for a ride then take it to the courts, get your money back that, but trust me for 30 bucks (or what ever currency you use) it won't be worth it because you won't win.

Yeah I agree, I've never been able to test out the persistent storage due to the server I put my tent on has been stuck in that never-ending restart loop bug thing and never been able to go back and see if it's still there or not and that was on the first day of the patch release.

Well I know who's at fault but I'm interested in hearing your opinion on it. Now I don't mean to sound condescending here but it's hard not to, do you honestly think that every product that is made, be it a game, a new car or even some new buildings being erected didn't fail to meet a deadline at some point? There's always going to be unforeseen circumstances that will prevent something from moving forward. No, I don't think it's exploiting the stupid, if you want to spend money on something that clearly is labelled as alpha or beta before fully understand the meaning then it's your own fault, next time do some homework, read up on it.

The only reason I personally avoid night servers is the light clipping through walls and the gamma exploits, the minute that's fixed with this (not so new) new engine I'll be on them just as much as day servers. If people are going to avoid servers due to rain then I think that's a little pathetic.

Currently due to the broken experimental servers it's been hard for me to give it a really good test, but what I've managed to test has been cool. I wasn't having the same issues as others were having in regards to the hypothermia, hyperaemia thing, granted, I had to run around with just a t-shirt on because the minute I put anything else on, such as a hoodie I'd start sweating and that's before I even moved. However I managed to jog all the way from Svetlo to Berezino with a hoodie on with yellow thirst and yellow hunger and in constant showers, just had to stop once in awhile to dry my cloths out before the next shower came, which is what I was doing just before Rify when some guy came out of nowhere and took 3 shots at me with a Mosin from like 10 feet away, missed every shot lol, took me a few seconds to figure out where he was, while I'm running around like a head-less-chicken trying to pull my axe, finely spotted him and put up chase, I was inches away when he pulled a pistol and from about 90 to 95 degree angle from me he somehow managed to get a head shot on me.

I'm not defending anyone and they didn't sell a buggy product, they gave you and everyone else the chance to help them make a product, you are the one who made the choice to do it. How am I ignorant? I knew what was coming when I got this game. The only people who are ignorant and/or stupid is the ones who think they were going get this game and play it without any issues. I've took part in many different alphas, closed and open betas I knew what was expected, I knew it wasn't going to great, broken and unplayable at times, that's what alpha is. It bugs me to no end when I see comments like this, the one I quoted, the OPs and the countless ones before this and the countless that will follow, learn what alpha means until then go play something else and let the people who want to help this game do it in peace.

It's idiots like you (also the OP) that shouldn't be allowed a computer let alone the ability to "help test" an unfinished product. You're not here to "play" the game as such but to find and report issues, try using google and search "define alpha testing" you just might get it then but I do highly doubt it.

This, yeah it's pointless to carry keys unless your planning to handcuff someone and then later let them go.

If it's vanishing then yeah something isn't right, I've been able to swap hand guards and the other has always appears in my inventory. I've not done it for awhile so I'm unsure if/when it broke.

I'm not going to pretend I know things regarding armor plating or the physics when it comes shooting a bullet but even still I think rusted or old armor would still stop a 7.62 round.

I like it, nothing more satisfying than known someone just got fucked up because he KoS and tried to steal your gear. I don't think it should kill but ruin all his gear and your gear, maybe break a limb preferably a leg and you can leave a note in your backpack that reads "get rekt son"

Heavy vehicles like tanks should never ever be implemented. By all means add cars, bikes and 4x4 jeeps but not tanks or LAVs/APCs

It's client side, hence why you see different ragdoll effects than someone else.

When they announced the private shards and modding tools this was the first thing I thought would happen by some server owners. Maybe not as far as the whole removing zombie thing but they will more than likely edit the map to accommodate pure PvP when it's allowed and I'm sure some of them will remove the zombies entirely.

Combat logging isn't that effective now due to the 30 seconds it takes for your character to actually leave the server, so even know you're out of the server and looking at the server browser, your helpless body was still being pounded by that zombie for 30 seconds hence why you died. Combat logging is really a big no no around here so expect to get a good 'ol nut crushing for it, but one thing at least it wasn't as if you were in a gun fight when you did it. Now for the invisible / desyncing zombie, the first thing you should do is high tail it out of the house./building your in, the reason your being hit is due to the server thinking you're somewhere else (desync) the zombie should regain it's aggro and follow you to where you really are. Or the zombie is truly invisible, this has only happened to me once, I was playing with a friend who could hear a zombie really close to him but couldn't see it, however the zombie was visible on my screen, but again, time to get the f*** out of there and relocate if you can't find the zombie.
