Yeah true it was a toss up between legging it and fighting it out. As it was lots of open space I went with not running. Gonna avoid the air bases from now on!

I disagree. I've seen people log out. I've shrugged and moved on only to have them re log almost straight away and kill me. I stopped because there was no real cover for a distance for me to run

Thanks guys for your responses, was my first proper firefight and I combat logging did cross my mind but I thought no this is the game. I was trying to escape but there wasn't much cover. I did get him in the end and got his scope. Didn't feel bad at all! Didn't realise this was ghosting. Can't wait for fixes

So after getting killed a few times i managed to get a mosin and make my way to balota airbase, im hugging the side and see someone, ask if they are friendly which is met with fire so i return fire with my new mosin get a leg hit in. The guy then runs to the middle of a field, looks at me and logs off - in the middle of nowhere, no cover etc! ok random, so i take cover near a building wall watching where i saw him log out figuring he is trying to get the best of me, few mins past and nothing then a shot hit the wall right by my head from the forest behind me... crap he must have had a friend!! i run and take new cover, new mosin with no scope so i crawl my way to the airtower and watch over the field from cover... 5 mins and nothing, i know hes there. few more mins and its the guy who combat logged!! he server hopped to flank me and rejoined to take me out!! seriously!!! how do you play against people like that? i know that the new patch will help but that went on for 10 mins and a 30 second timer wont help poor play like that :( Really cant believe people play like that! Has anyone else had this?
