Not true! That star is outside the circumference of the moon, I reckon, and the moon goes through phases based on the date. It's position is also calculated based on date and time. Hi all! I've had the mod installed and working for over a week now, but never really got a chance to play it due to other commitments. That didn't stop me visiting forums and whatnot, and the stunning screenies of the SA that I saw have made me decide to splash out on the standalone. I've got no mic, and I mainly use an xbox controller, so I'll probably be winding up dead in a crosshair near you sometime soon!

Never played an MMO, then? They all have logout timers for the same reason as DayZ. Logging out is, in my mind, the same as your character going to sleep. If you can find somewhere safe to sleep, you'll rarely have a problem.

How is it unrealistic to not be able to find food and loot in houses that've been ransacked hourly for who-knows-how-long? It'd be more realistic to require everything to be crafted or hunted.. Crossbows, furs, and a sack of potatoes are the future! ;)
