Also nights... In current build playing at nighttime is pretty much as easy as playing in the daytime. Nights used to look like this

Well, AMD's drivers are CPU-demanding, this one is too slow for any higd-end AMD card, go for Nvidia.
-
Reinstall your video drivers with DDU, try using Crimsons. Also, your CPU is way to slow for this GPU, espacially cause it's a FX processor.

I hope they'll introduce lighting system similair to Arma 3's one. Depending on the date, nights are failry bright or completely pitch black where light source is indispensable, that is what I would like to see in DayZ.
-
I turned clouds on and set them to very high, brightness is pretty much the same as it was before.
-
Currently, nights are way too bright hence the need for artificial light source is almost non-existent. You can see almost as good as during daytime. That's how dead of night looks like, no moon: I really miss the old, pitch black nights where you could not see the tip of your finger. What do you guys think?

Even with stock cooler most Q6600s go up to 3,0GHz with no problems, though, motherboard may be a problem.
-
What is the exact model of your cpu? Also, give me model name of your motherboard. Overclocking CPU is necessary if you want to play with decent frames.
-
You should go for Nvidia GPU like GTX 750Ti or GTX 950, avoid AMD GPUs with your CPU as the AMD drivers tend to be more demanding for single core performance. Combining AMD CPU with AMD GPU will result in poor performance(low gpu usage) in CPU-bound games like DayZ.

Actually, ram sticks with higher factory clocks are made of superior quality memory modules thus will achieve higher clocks in OC. Furthermore, is 10$ really big deal in damned 1700$ build?
-
No difference at all... 15% improvement in performance. Really bad deal for 10$. http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?166512-Arma-3-CPU-vs-RAM-performance-comparison-1600-2133-up-to-15-FPS-gain

What is point of such powerful PSU and why did you pick 1600MHz memories? 2400MHz cl11 are just 10 bucks more expensive but significantly better.

In Arma2/3 cranking gamma up will work only when sky is clear and stars are visible. With completely clouded sky even with gamma on max you would not be able to see the tip of your nose.
-
Currently they look like this: http://i.imgur.com/L2sNtBj.jpg Even if there is not a single star on the sky everything is clearly visible. They used to look like this: http://i.imgur.com/H3ZzPbD.jpg which was very nice.

Hey, I used to play on night time servers but now I don't see point in that. You can't use advantages of night anymore. I miss the times when you were able to sneak in the shadows. Currently during nights everything is almost as visible as during day even if sky is completely clouded. Artificial sources of light lost their meaning too, in the dead of night you can easily scavenge without flashlight. What do you guys think about that?
