Thought it would be a bit of a laugh to enforce the no pants rule and give this bambi a book. I did not expect that so many people would follow the teachings of book.

Man, I honestly have no idea how this happened. Watching it unfold we couldn't believe it. Figured at like 6 or 7 of us that was funny but when it got into double digits it was just so funny

Bit of a long video I know, But I really wanted to capture the whole thing without editing (bar some speeding up of clips and audio adjusting)

Thanks dude :D

Yeah I used to cooperate with bandits as I felt it made for more entertaining videos. Then I realized I amused myself far more by taunting and insulting them. Got a couple more bandit vids that I will be uploading soon.

Thanks guys glad you like it :D

Thanks man, I wasn't about to get blood bagged or force fed!

Met these guys one night while playing and they were sound. CW clan they are called. -
So earlier on I broke my legs eating an orange, that was hilarious :D

So I looked through and couldn't see anything about this in the forum. Sharpening stones for axes, machetes and other items. If not used the items condition becomes worn, damaged etc and you must maintain it like you would with the guns. If you don't maintain it obviously the weapon becomes blunt thus taking its damage total down.

So, I spent about 7 hours today looking for sticks for my mate with a broken leg and never found any. I did find morphine which I have been told fixes broken legs but when I went to inject him he moved away and I ended up taking the morphine myself (so yeah that's my fault for being useless and not giving him the injector to use) In my search for sticks I came across many many axes, wrenches, baseball bats and all sorts of other items which could be fashioned into a working splint. So perhaps if you had say a hammer you could knock the end off a woodcutting axe and use the shaft of it. Or a baseball bat could maybe be broken in half by an axe and used. Just seems that these things could all be used in that scenario and I know it would make having a broken leg a much easier experience to deal with, but lets face it, It is a really really damn tricky one as it is. Thoughts?

When I originally thought up this idea I forgot to mention I meant if you were in a densely populated town and had no immediate access to trees. I completely overlooked the idea of foraging sticks when in the woods which I think would be great. As for the other part of the item I hadn't really thought about that. I was just trying to address the broken leg issue

I am glad someone has suggested this, I think this would really make the game more about survivors pulling their resources and working together.

I know that I gave you my beans, but I just have to give you them again in writing! Man, I feel like a right T**T for not thinking of that in my post! haha well played sir

So, how many times am I going to let someone KOS before I start shooting back? I keep promising myself that I won't become one of these people but the more it happens the closer I am to thinking that perhaps there aren't actually many friendly people left. I understand the game is about survival so to increase your chances an obvious move would be to take out other players. But guys can we not have some fun with it first? if you are going to kill me anyway at least degrade me first I mean where is the fun in just pulling a trigger? you have battlefield and Cod for that stuff. So if anyone is in a server with me (KaiDekA) and they happen to bump into me you have 2 options. Either become friendly as I usually am, unless I have had a pretty horrific night on the Z or option 2 do your worst but be creative. Make me strip, force feed me bleach, handcuff me and just swear at me Whatever it is make it a little more entertaining than just shooting me in the back. A special message to the people who I have bumped into a few times, the people who claim to be friendly and then just Kill you afterwards, nice one you have officially failed at life and I hope that you find happiness in your actions. Oh and to the very few friendly and quite frankly hilarious people I have met while playing YOU HAVE MY BEANS

It's interesting to see how many ways there are to play this game. All coming back to my original point. I have no qualms with being killed the other day I lost a character I had kept alive for nearly a week. I had literally no problems with dying then because as pointed out once looted up the game becomes a countdown to death as there are no real threat from zombies etc. I have absolutely no problems dying, I just wish people would be more creative I want some of the crazy messed up situations I see in youtube videos to happen to me. Right, all this talk has made me want to get into game and have some fun. Anyone out there who wants to play I usually end up in Meh gamingdeluxe server or our own server which is called Ronin. I will be heading to the North east base right now from fresh spawn. I will either see you and share a tin of beans or you will kos either way cya there

Hey so let me elaborate a little on the few experiences I am talking about. Number one. I come up to the factory north of Dolina to see a fresh spawn running in with no weapon. I announce myself and come in behind him. I say don't worry I will help you take out the zombies man you don't have a weapon. So I draw my axe and start taking them out. He applauds and puts his thumb up. I explain that I am trying to help out a few new spawns in the busy servers as I really like the idea of doing this in the game. I say it's highly likely that there is a weapon and backpack here so once he is geared up a bit I will leave him be. I give him a tin of food and he eats it. Happy as can be. So I go round the corner to kill the zombies and the little P***K has only gone and got a wrench and repeatedly tried hitting me round the head with it only to miss. I of course got out my M4 and disposed of him. Instance 2 north east airfield, I have no weapon drawn, I have no bandit gear on. I see a guy coming toward me round the front of the hanger I turn to run into the hanger then gradually peer out. No weapon drawn. Over direct comms he says "Put your hands up I am not going to shoot you I just want food" I put my hands up and say I have a few tins he is welcome to them. Before even getting to me bang dead. I like to think he ruined my tins and starved to death. See I completely agree with what some people are saying about being startled but I always make a point of announcing myself. To paraphrase the mighty Dolph Lundgren, If I die I die. But to me this game has always been more than just a massive deathmatch, I feel sorry for people who treat it that way because you are missing the much bigger picture. Like the other day, I meet a guy in the North east airfield prison block, I call out friendly he does the same. After a few minutes of talking we decide that we can trust each other and he informs me that he was looking for sticks as his other mate had a broken leg, so I abandom my search for an acog sight and help them. Now I have both of them added on my steam list and I have like minded players to share the awesome experience with. To me this game is all about survival and scavenging, I love how many new elements get added in if you only try and experience it different ways. Like when a few of us played together as new spawns but as there was not enough food to keep 3 new spawns healthy tension started to grow in our group and we had to all try and remain as fair as possible. This game will never be just a massive deathmatch this is a strategy survival fps or tps depending on preference, Notice SHOOTER will always be last in my list.

I agree with what Droopy is saying, it would be good to see some sort of system eventually in place where peoples moralistic choices would determine the outcome of their overall gaming experience. -

I am so glad my mate just read this as I have just found a mosin with loads of ammo and would have been playing completely oblivious. This "game" although in alpha I have to say, I have more fun playing this than any other game around. It is getting close to rivaling Final Fantasy 7 as my all time favorite game and that is a game that has never been beaten. Awesome work and probably the best 97 hours in 2 weeks I have had :D -
I agree with piles on this one, Don't get me wrong the game looks amazing in daytime and at night with a moon is more than playable. But when there is no moon whatsoever then you can see literally sweet fa. Now I am aware that this adds an ultra sense of realism and yes it does make the game 10x scarrier. I think what Piles was trying to say is the complete disproportion of day to night servers since the update, for example, when I go on to play after work in the evening, there may be a selection of around 50-100 servers, only possibly 10-15 of those will be daytime and full of people so you can't get in. As I said I am more than happy to play at night with a moon, but when it's cloudy what is the point in playing one of the nicest looking games around and being able to see precisely sweet FA? I think if it was sorted so with clouds you could still at least see something then it would be great Now if I had the option to host a daytime server all the time, then I would buy my own, but I am not going to hire a server only to get home from work and it be dark and not want to play in it.
