Hey guys, so since about .48 I have been getting a weird issue, when it rains the floor all around me turns black and its really annoying. Anyone else suffer from this and know a fix? I have tried altering every single setting in the graphics settings but no luck at all. My rig AMD R9 290 intel i5 3570k @4.3ghz 8gb corsair vengeance asrock z75 pro 3 mobo xfx core edition 750w psu

Is anyone else noticing a return of desync issues? I seem to be getting a much smoother playing experience in terms of fps etc. But notice that sometimes I even hit the 100000 desync. I thought maybe just my connection but I check the player list and there are quite a few players in the server with the same issues as me

Anyone else having weird problems with sound? like it goes completely silent every few seconds or so.

So I didn't re download the files when switching from experimental to stable branch and well..... yeah

Also was thinking, tents as a means of storage are kinda pointless with persistent loot, surely you can just stick your stuff under a tree and it will stay there forever. Not exactly hard to find a spot and remember it.

So, I was playing experimental for about 4 hours last night. Took me that long to find a backpack and I found no ammo the whole time. Am I just unfortunate or has the persistent loot removed a lot of ammo spawn locations?

Servers aren't spawning any loot, anyone know if this is being addressed?

So new patch is awesome. But I wish the hacking had been sorted out. I am well happy there are no more 10000 round clips, but invisible people still killing from all over the place. I didn't get killed so I am not being butt hurt here. There were 8 of us, all randoms who met up and decided to play together. Was wondering through Berenzino and a lot of friendly people about. Awesome. We hear a mosin shot from the appartments and decide to investigate. We head in in 3 teams and one of our guys gets killed in the bathroom. First of all we assume the other guy killed him so we go looking for him, then as we are regrouping to figure out what is happening one of our party drops after a mosin round right next to us goes in his head. None of us fired. I am 100% certain of that. We decide that it's a hacker and the few that are left bail from the building while 2 get taken out on the stairs. I am in TS with my mate who tells me over teamspeak he is down, I go to bandage him and we hear thanks for the gun over global, his gun disappears and from right next to him a mosin shot into his head and laughing. Is the invisibility hack likely to be taken out in the next patch? is this something the Devs are aware of and combating? Not to leave on a bad note. Loving the patch bar what was just said. Fireplaces and fishing is just so cool. Met 2 random Germans the other day and basically had a camping trip and chatted for a while. Hunted and then parted ways.

So, loving all the new stuff in stable. Been playing experimental for a couple weeks and was really really excited about the new additions. However, while playing earlier I was in a police station, top floor evidence room I call it (right at the top of first spiral stairs) I was just eating when all of a sudden, my leg feels painful, my leg is broken, you are dead..... Anyone else had anything like this? My instant assumption was Hacker, I checked the player list and there was only about 3 or 4 other people in there so would be strange for it to be a hacker I think. Plus I know there have been a whole load of security updates to the game so very doubtful it was. There is definitely no way anyone could have shot me in there an there was not a zombie in sight. Anyone else had any similar issues to this since update?

So, first time I have played in a couple of weeks as I have been really busy with work. Is it just me or is every other person hacking now? just got killed by a teleporter and before that by a lovely gentleman with a rapid fire mosin. When I finally did manage to kill someone and thought to myself time to reap the rewards the dude had an m4 with a clip containing around 2000 bullets..... Where's the fun? Does anyone know if this is being actively combated with the next patch? I feel the fun being sucked out of it and I love this game even in alpha I am so hooked

So, me and my mates playing the other night and this guy spawns in randomly and decides instantly he ain't very friendly so we drop him. Upon inspecting his corpse he has a stack of bullets with 2344 in..... We gathered pretty quickly that this was a hacker and didn't touch any of his dirty hack loot! but then theres a bambi spawns next to the body and goes straight to loot it not seeing us. I assume this is the same douche hacker coming back for his loot! Can't wait till they sort out the hacker issues, I thought that was what battleye was for!

Yeah I only recently discovered the hide feature, think it's great. But this guy spawned in so quick and just literally started looting that body.

Where is the crashed plane? I have seen this in a few videos but never found it.

So, I can't play at the minute because I get constant Desync no matter how many people on server, what server I am on. Have tried all the usual fixes, verify game cache, reboot computer, got latest drivers for gpu, ran in compatibility mode. Nothing has worked

So, just got all excited about the new patch and logged in. I was constantly desyncd the whole time I was playing, it wouldn't sort itself out. Tried restarting, tried changing server, tried restarting computer, verifying integrity of game cache. Nothing fixed it. Anyone else suffering?

Yeah just tried it again and pretty much everyone in the server was having severe desync issue

Hey there it will automatically switch and I don't know if this will be the problem or not but it's something to try I guess, you would need to go into control panel, system, device manager and disable the onboard graphics. This may not fix the issue but it's something to try I guess. I have had the exact same issue with the game in the past as I said mate and I know it's frustrating but you will get round it one day and when you do I promise you will be happy you persevered, Once you are on come share some beans and tactical bacon with me :D

So, I have just got a new gpu and everything was working fine before. Now when I go to start DayZ I can't play it with Afterburner running. I had a similar issue on my old card and the only way to fix it was to revert back to the older version. However, me and my mates all play on pretty much identical rigs (Os, cpu, gpu and even pretty much same ssd) I am the only one out of the 6 of us that is having this issue and we can't work out why. Has anyone else had this problem? Specs intel 3750k@4.4ghz 8gb crucial ballistix MSI R9 290 gaming edition. 120gb crucial ssd windows 8.1 latest MSI afterburner This is really bugging me as since I have switched from my nvidia gtx 770 I no longer have shadowplay and wanted to start using msi afterburner to record...... Ps, no fanboys please saying oh it's cuz AMD are sh!t, or oh I am surprised it worked with your Nvidia card as nvidia suck, heard it all before :P EDIT: I get the error before the game even starts saying DayZ has stopped working and sometimes get the error saying a running instance of steam could not be found. Both DayZ SA and Steam are fully up to date

Yeah I use it with rivatuner, no problems with my last card and identical setup to the rest of my mates who we all play it on same settings and everything. Yet I can't run afterburner and play DayZ where as they can.

Yeah it does, it still crashes a lot but I accept that as it's Alpha. There are times when I have no issues whatsoever then there are times when it won't work at all. Just hang in there man, the devs are working hard to get the game finished and you will just have to keep trying. I wish I could be more help mate. Have you tried running it with both graphics cards? maybe try disabling the onboard card?
