Agreed, I was quiet ashamed that I was captured and killed this way. Won't let anyone that close again. Just seemed a bit fake the way it all went down.

No you're a survivor. Seriously you reacted the right way, better him than you. Try to avoid being face to face all of a sudden, in these scenarios it's usually the quickest one that walks. When you see someone from a distance you can try to engage communication and decide whether you will cooperate, engage or withdraw.

Random sounds most definitely, adrenaline rush everytime... Also bushes & trees that look like a person and when you face them they don't look like a person... at all.

Newly spawns with no gear and (much) clothing should be able to run much faster than someone who is fully geared. The more gear you carry the slower you should be. I recently spawned and saw some blood hungry fully geared dudes coming towards me. I kept running and running but simply couldn't outrun them and ended dead on the beach because I had no more blood. When speed is adjusted based upon one's gear you have to think twice about the amount of gear you will carry. For example, I now sometimes have so much (redundant) ammo and food I could survive for months in the woods. When you only carry al little gear you have to enter urban areas to get new supplies. Of course one could choose to be stacked with gear but I beleive this should come with a (minor) speed or stamina penalty. Probably mentioned before but this would be a good feature in my humble opinion.

Haha this is so recognizable. Never experienced that sudden adrenaline rush before in a computer game.

Found a few of them in barracks, I think they are not rare anymore. Can't say I think you look pretty awesome, you look like a psychopath and will probably get KOS'ed ;).

Sorry but you both deserved to die, survival of the fittest. I mean the guy chopped you almost to dead with an axe and your friend keeps yelling 'friendly'??? Your friend should have killed him than and there without hesitating. You on the other hand should have bandaged out of his sight. Try to learn from this experience and don't be so friendly, talk to people at a nice distance with cover and if you don't trust the guy than assault or withdraw, better him dead than you.

I hope it will be enough to scare them.... Let's wait and see

I think you did the logical thing. At the airport it's no chatting but just survival of the fittest. That and the fact that he was probably server hopping and deserves to respawn. Kinda annoying that all gear is ruined after shooting someone, however in your case you did shoot him quite a lot ;)

How is it possible that there is fresh fruit to loot? It should be quite some while since the outbreak and fresh fruit should not be laying in houses anymore, only rotten fruit. Only consumable fruit that should be in the game is canned fruit. So please replace fresh fruit with canned fruit. Probably mentioned before, in that case sorry. I know that there are a lot of other things that have priority to be fixed but I hope they will adjust this in the long run.

I also had a little survey on this forum a couple of days back asking people their age, gender and if they played the mod before the standalone. In total 40 persons responded and 82,5% played the mod before the standalone. Quite similar with the (temporary) results here (83,33% at the moment).

Swarms of fast running zombies would be a great thing and probably will be implemented later in the game. Just imagine yourself running through a forest and suddenly stumble upon a swarm of zombies... You would literally have to run for your life because they are all charging you (when 1 sees you the others will react on that one) and there are to many to simply shoot. Zombie animals are not necessary in my opinion. The virus has only affected people, the wildlife is left unharmed.

Saying that you killed a bandit is just a psychological solution to ease one's conscience. NO you did not kill a bandit, you killed an innocent person who barely survived the ending of the world as we know it! He/she was struggling to cope with the post-apocalyptic world before you came by and killed the poor basterd in cold blood. To find bandits one only has to look in a mirror... We're all bandits, cope with it or cease to exist.
