You just broke the first two rules B) The first rule of Fight Club is: You do not talk about Fight Club. The second rule of Fight Club is: You do not talk about Fight Club. Third rule of Fight Club: Someone yells stop, goes limp, taps out, the fight is over. Fourth rule: only two guys to a fight. Fifth rule: one fight at a time, fellas. Sixth rule: no shirts, no shoes. Seventh rule: Fights will go on as long as they have to. eighth rule: If this is your first night at Fight Club, you have to fight

This would be my favourite solution, not only for handguns. I imagine that the situation at the time of the outbreak was a complete chaos. So any rules about getting bullets/mags out of guns/rifles were not followed. So in my humble opinion a solution like this would be perfect.

What a complete idiot. Get's hit and starts to bleed and instantly wants to log out to save his gear. Simply can't believe the playstyle of some people.

So this was the situation. I was at NWAF (tent camp) when someone started to shoot me with a mosin. He missed and I could run without seeing my opponent. After running into the forest for quite a while I deceided to try a flanking manoeuvre. When I was back at the camp he (or she) saw me first again and started to shoot me again, so I ran away again. This was repeated a couple of times and everytime I came back at the camp (from all directions) he saw me quite fast and tried to shoot me. All the times (took about 30 minutes in total) I never saw the guy once. The last time he came after me and killed me. The final minutes of my avatar have been recorded and can be seen with the link below. As you can see I ran quite a while through dense bushes/trees and in my opinion he could not see me. You can see him fire (or at least something is appearing there) from almost straight before me through the bushes (@3:10). Was my opponent just skilled or was this a hacker who can see through objects? Please share your opinion... Cheers

I shall use my ears better next time ;) Because of the buggy sounds I sometimes don't know which sound to trust. Didn't even hear the sounds you describe :blush:

I Have to agree that I could have handled the situation better. Was hoping that he would expose himself but that tactic didn't end well. Every dayz session is a learning sesion ;)

You can see the muzzle flash just a few meters/feet in front of me to the left. Took me a couple of times to see because it goes quite fast and is instantly followed by the 'you are dead' screen.

Yeah it was a bit weird and that muzzle flash is the only thing I have seen from him. It's quite possible that he just outskilled me, pretty nice job if that's the case. I didn't even fired a single shot in the entire half hour I was duelling him. Pretty one sided duel though ;)

Epic confrontation, LMAO

Switched to hardcore a couple of weeks ago and the immersion and intensity is great. However, when I sprint for a while in hardcore I tend to get a little nauseous. Don't think I'll go back to regular soon, the whole peeking around corners just isn't my style.

I've played on full servers (40/40) the last week and got quite frustrated. There was no one in Cherno and Elektro and all the other coastal cities (except Berezino). After a while I was so desperate to meet people that I lost my guard, I simply ran without cover through the streets and shot every single zombie I encountered. I then decided to move to Berezino and the whole coastal journey was without encountering anyone. All changed when I entered Berezino, a complete deathmatch with bodies everywhere. There were no efforts to communicate or help each other, KOS was the trend. Almost like playing BF or COD. I hope they change the spawning places in the coming period, the sooner the better in my opinion. The general behaviour at the moment is an insult for this (great) game.

Or just add the option to ruin gear. Would be nice to destroy someones weapons so no one can claim them.

Did you had healthy status? This should be first priority after spawning. When you are hungry and your blood is low you are much more likely to be dead or unconscious after 1 hit.

That was quite hilarious. Also thank you for the warning, I use that spot quite often to scout the village but never got catapulted into the air like that. Will be careful next time :)
