Well that's probably why you don't see the problem. Try a fresh character on a 40-man server not restarted for multiple hours. Result may vary. Don't get me wrong, I don't like server hopper :)

The current map would feel small with vehicles + 100 players server. So hopefully they have map expansion planned in a far away future.

Well, the starting area is now spreading form south Berezino to Kamyshovo. So yeah, solnichniy, located between those two towns is kinda the worst place to spawn. But considering the multiples ponds available in that area, you can easily drink water and sprint 10min straight to one of those towns.
