    Freeze upon joining server

    I had not (I re-installed it using the Steam Option "Re-install BattlEye Anti-Cheat), the Steam version was apparently not up-to-date. It now works, so thank you very very much !

    Hello everyone ! After having played ArmA II and Operation Arrowhead for a while now, I decided to give the DayZ mod a try. After installing everything on Steam as instructed in one of the threads on this forum, I tried joining a server, but unfortunately, even after carefully choosing and verifying my mod was up-to-date and everything, I realized that shortly after clicking "join" on any server, my game would freeze and nothing would happen short of a Ctrl+Alt+Del. I tried searching through all the previous troubleshooting threads, but didn't really find anything that ressembled my case. I tried re-installing the mod, then BattlEye, then both ArmA II and Operation Arrowhead, but to no avail, still that major freeze when trying to join any game. So, if someone could help me on this one, I would greatly appreciate it, and if you need more info on anything, just ask. Many thanks in advance.
