Have you done testing with the Sawed Off Shotgun to? Last night in Balota I was covering overwatch for the Airfield and it was in a two story red house just north of the food house in Balota. I heard movement and action outside the room I was in and got my sawed off out and was about 2 feet from the door. Just close enough that I would be standing next to it as it opened. It opened, I fired both shots at the chest area and the guy lived. I mean I could have spit on him he was so close and 2 blasts didnt drop him. Might want to look into sawed off and do some testing with that as well.

I would like to see some depth to structures. Maybe missile silo's or a submarine Naval base somewhere on the coast.

Why not take this thread further. How about adding fishing line + empty cans = trip line.. line shakes cans, cans make noise. Alerts you that someone is heading down the hall from you. Or fishing line + ied/nade to make a improvised claymore. So much could be done with string or fishing line to setup traps that trigger explosives or alert signals for bandits and zombies alike.

Players are more attached to loot then keeping character alive

There is a flaw with the idea of adding incentives to survive. With every incentive to survive is yet another incentive for people to KoS. There will always be people who want to troll and kill people to stop that person from having fun. For example, "Oh, that guy has awesome gear and a cool gun and can run faster and longer and is more accurate because hes survived soo long. Lets ruin his day and kill him cause that would be funny. I can see him rage quitting now! Haha loser." There is nothing you can do to stop it. With the addition of more players and zombies, perhaps it may relieve some of the pressure to kill on sight because it may end up in getting you killed in return, but it will never completely get rid of it. -
Anyone who says they do not alt tab to look at a map is full of it. Playing on a map of this size you could spend hours getting back to your group, who probably is still on the move, if you go strictly by road signs.

Because map pieces are so scarce, we are forced to use alt tabbing to view a map of the game thru a website. I have lost count of the times where I find a spot in a town and NO body is around. I sit there for a few mins and then all of a sudden I alt tab to view the map and when I alt tab back into the game... there is a Zombie on me.

Perhaps you misunderstood me. My main focus of this is that we could still visually see whats in front of us by moonlight alone. But in a tactical situation where someone was trying to hit you with melee attacks at night.. you could flash your light in their eyes, blinding them giving you time to defend yourself or run.

A soldier is a profession, does he come into the came in full combat gear? Or at the very least camouflage? Sounds like that would be OP to me.

A full moon provides more then enough ambient light for the human eye to adapt to at night for some vision. It may not be clear enough for long distance but definitely for the vicinity you are in. You could take this concept even further by using a flashlight blind a person at night because their vision is currently adapted to a low light so a bright light would completely blind them. The current vision during night is just impossible to play in. Either I cant see where I am going or I get shot at every time I turn on a light. I would like to be able to play a full day/night range server without being forced to use a flashlight that basically makes me a walking bullseye.
