  1. I am so fucking sick of these god damn threads.

Am I literally the only person who has seen a hacker once, and I didn't even die from him?

Seriously, in all my time I've sunk into DayZ, a hacker has never graced me.

I never seen 1 person that i could confirm was a hacker. Ever@

I assure you, you two are very lucky.

I usually play during the week, after work, and I don't see much hacking, only occasionally say 1 in 3 servers joined. But, play during the day on a weekend and it's a whole new ball game. Hackers give you random gear, steal your gear, warp your around, spawn helicopters, nuke, servers, spawn massive fires and many other crazy things that get you killed.

It is a big problem, the Earth is a sphere, not flat.

  2. I prefer playing at night, it's just recently there has been no moon. As a result it's unlrealisticly dark (pitch black).

I spent a good proportion of my child hood on a farm, I can assure you on a night with no moon/heavily overcast you can still see fine once your eyes adjust properly.

I want to play at night more!!!!!

  3. While agree what makes DayZ great is its unforgiving nature and in no way should that change. (It gives an experience like few games I've played. It reminds me most of the Stalker games.)

Your Elitist attitude is pretty unflattering and is generally the attitude that results in a pretty unpleasant community. New people should be welcomed, because at the end of the day, if they have fun, they will stick around and enjoy the game for what it is. If they find it to hard, they'll whinge and leave.

Anyway, Rocket, keep up the top notch work, this is the most fun I've had in a game since Starcraft 2

And just as a side note, Starcraft's focus is on the Competitive/Pro scene. Try playing it competitively and I'm sure you'll find it a very challenging and complex game, especially when the mind games and strategy come into play.
