This is a simple question with a simple answer. I need to know where Cherno is based, even though it is fictional. I need it for reasons I don't want to reveal quite yet. I think you'll all like it very much. Where on the map would I look?

There is no real reason to discuss this, you pretty much covered it. Flashlights are one handed. Why is the other hand made useless while you use it?

I agree about bringing life to the skies, Instead of just wandering to find materials for survival, watch for the skies and see what it tells you.

I know it is, I meant cooked as in put on a skillet and dried out a little bit. Or heated up at least. Is adding new varieties of food even a good idea? Or is everyone alright with canned beans, it's just food. Nothing too important.

That's actually a great point, I wouldn't want all the Zeds to be agile or fast. Based on level of infection - is how the Zed's psychosis affects itself. And what I mean is - some are more sensitive to movement and sound than others, some can see you clearly and some have to wait for movement to attack. But to hit a Zed with a blunt weapon to knock it down or break limbs would impair it, as to destroying the heart or brain would eliminate it.

This is a great idea, I have considered being able to impair the Zed without actually killing it. I mentioned that a headshot only would actually kill the Zed, but the point is to escape it in a tight situation, Like post above - to impair without actually executing.

Then don't put yourself in that situation. And if you are in that situation-and can't land a headshot that you know of.. Run.

What of the Zombies? Well.. The Zombies in DayZ are nothing but non-collidable pests that smack you around and... well that's it. It's not even that entertaining to kill them, because they don't fall on impact, they just drop. Let me show you a few clips on how . Zombies should be in DayZ . ___________________________________________________________________ These clips above are my example on how Zombies in DayZ should behave, this would be a perfect horror immersion. Just imagine this story - This is the intense situation you should get stuck in when you make naive decisions for survival. You should've just hit the Zed and ran, but firing off 2 rounds attracted them as far as the sound traveled. I want to give some examples of sounds Zeds would make - what you would hear in the horizon, or around a corner. If you think it's that easy - do it for them, huh? They are already working on this, there is more than one person in Development that has already addressed the issue. Now for other suggestions, that is was forum directors are for. When they like a suggestion, they suggest it to a Developer, and the Developers discuss on how to implement the idea, and it's immersion. Haha - Instant tenderizer.

Awh man, Sorry. I didn't know there was already a topic. I LOVE creating characters, every detail, I am very detail orientated.This would absolutely sell DayZ for me, among other thiongs I've suggested, Character Customization is top of the list.

So leave them to catch the infection and die off, leaving their stuff in sheds and shelters they hid in. Even leave them around the shed or shelter as Zeds to kill off.
