ok, interesting. The only thing I can think of was that I was bleeding out and we didnt notice, nobody bandaged me. But I certainly took two blood bags and two defibs and I just saw unconscious all the time. I was unconscious for about 10 minutes though, does that matter? Also, saline bags do the same as blood bags, right?

I took two blood bags and a defib; twice. It said to the guy who was doing it that he had revived me, but nothing changed on my screen, still unconscious...

Guys, How do you revive from unconscious? Is it even possible. I got shot earlier and went unconscious from a fully healthy status. I had someone give me two blood bags (That I took from myself earlier on) and it did not revive me. They also tried a defibrilator; Which didnt work. Is the only way an epi-pen? can you even revive?

Tell you what mate, go find me food, FNX45 with scope, silencer and torch, M4 with torch, silencer and scope, ammo, ammo box, food, morphine pens, full military hear, helmet, hunting backpack etc all pristine and I'll meet you on a server of your choice in 15 mins and you can hand it over, yea? :) I'm not on private hive or hardcore servers... It's np. I just think it highlights an issue with instability in the network. They need to implement some kind of logic. I think what happened is i played on servers that had no connection to the hive last. When they regained connection to the hive, they overwrote my last character. There should be some kind of logic around this, it should compare the age of the character or something trying to be saved, with the one in the DB. If the one in the DB is older, it shouldn't save the character. I've lost a week long character to be over written with one with literally less than 10 seconds of play time; because the hive was having problems. I'm not raging, I'm just saying - it highlights something that needs to be changed. How would you feel if you logged into a server that had lost connectivity to the hive, and it instantly wiped all of your gear?

I did, it even said when I joined that the server could not connect to the hive; so I left again. It warned that this character may overwrite my own if the connection to the hive is re-established, I couldn't read it all though as it only appeared for 3-4 seconds. I instantly disconnected and figured I'd wait till hive connectivity is back up. come back today, no character.

damnit! And I suppose there's no course of action is there on this... Its just start over :( My last five characters have died to a bug. One fell through the floor in a supermarket, another fell through the floor in an airfield prison, another glitched inside a building, this one was just randomly reset and another one fell two feet and broke his legs. Strangely the game waits until I'm fully kitted after about four days and then kills me with a glitch of some kind :(

double tap alt. always eat and drink everything you see and find until stuffed, and repeat when your not stuffed until you get healing/healthy status. If you are not healthy, you are not at full health, and die quicker.

p.s this was all night last night, about 1900-0000 GMT (I didnt check past then) I couldn't get on forums and there was nothing on twitter to suggest a problem, is there another place to check?

Did characters get wiped in the update? Mine seems to of... Anyone else had this same problem? Bye bye pristine scoped m4 and everything :( I was playing last night just fine, then I got kicked from a server and every server I logged in after that said that they couldnt contact the central hive and spawned me as a new spawn ( i tried 3). I noticed the dayz forums were just showing an SQL error so I figured they must of been working on something, or something was broken. so i logged out. Today I seem to be a fresh spawn again...

what about passworded servers?

I didnt know it was against the rules. So some servers have kick in the title, and they do just that as soon as you join. I should report these? All of these servers kicked me within 10 seconds of joining. Ill bear this in mind.

Would it be possible to introduce kick detection? IVe just spent 15 minutes getting into a game because my usual server is night, and I was then kicked from 3 other sertvers as soon as I joined. If you are kicked you should not have to wait...

But if your inexperienced then you just turn post processing off because it gets rid of that horrible blurry effect. You drink when your thirsty, eat when your hungry, and never reach the healthy status; Thus run around half dead all the time. If your experienced, you dont need to read any of this; As you already know :)

Just to confirm he says about turning off post processing. post processing is responsible for the visual effect that shows you when you are low on health, if you turn it off, you will have no idea when you are not fully healthy. So I suggest to leave it on.
