You say that we have plenty of guns to use but in this post: http://forums.dayzgame.com/index.php?/topic/179419-full-weetod-fresh-spawns/page-3 You say you are going to have a PvE server. So my question is: why the HELL you would want to limit gun variety?!? Gun variety makes it so that the gun you find might not be your favorite, but it is nonetheless a gun that can put your life or others life at risk. Also, what makes you think the guns that are in the game now are going to be the only guns available upon release?

my first kill up north was with a CZ 550, got a 500 meter headshot on a guille who landed his chopper. He had loot he probably stacked FOR MONTHS. Did I say this yet? I love this gun so much.

I have had so many encounters where I had the CZ and the bandit had the DMR. I won those encounters because I felt one with the rifle. I also feel it is a great gun to learn how to snipe because the scope in the mod and the zeroing factor made it fun to learn to use.

but the mosin is one shot kill in body mass usually. The CZ is almost never one shot kill at center mass unless they are already injured.

HELLO! (new meat) If you want to play the mod, buy arma 2 + arma 2 OA, The game works fine like that. But I warn you, the mod is MUCH harder to enter servers, you would most likely need to get a third party program like "dayz commander" to enter a lobby. The mod, in my opinion, has much more KOS than the SA because it has lots of military grade guns that are common at their respective spawns favorite sniper from the mod: CZ 550 (capped so many bandits that thought they were safe to do their work. Also, join a vanilla server for the full experience. do not join the 500+ vehicles self blood bag servers immediately. Oh and be sure to throw chem lights at zombies, because why not.

good to know you are still making useful and constructive post. As for the OP, I think this idea is a bit flawed, but the notion to make fresh spawns value their own lives as much as fully geared individuals is what this game NEEDS.

I was writing a paper for one of my classes, and I realized halfway through the paper that I was writing "days" as "dayz" Has anyone else had this problem? I really would suck to get docked points because I misspelled a word because of muscle memory. Also, I was on a hardcore server yesterday and I saw three zombies attacking the air? Is this a known bug and what causes the zombie AI to actually do this?

I'm sorry, but are you part of the dev team? They have the ultimate decision on where they want to go with the game. By putting words in their mouths, you are belittling the dev team Think before you post. This would've been a meaningful post that offers room for discussion.

Everyone should have the right to play Dayz however they see fit, as long as it does not exploit,hack, or adjust the script. The problem with having servers that caters to one player base it that it separates the community, decreasing the diversity of player interactions that occur in the SA atm. Having servers being able to heavily modify the game file makes it so that they are, essentially, destroying the purpose of what the game was meant to be: A place where people with massively different playstyles can interact in ways unobtainable in other games.
