Well I just found that BISstudio sells a Chernarus map... Will it also be good for the standalone? Lemme know playas,

I'm looking for a place where I can download and print a good readable DayZ map on one page of paper. Or a place that actually sells a cloth or poster sized map. Anyone know of something like this? I've tried searching and no go. Please let me know. Thanks!

The game can be very action packed. You have to get on the right servers and stuff. If you're in a busy server that has been picked clean its hard to find stuff. When you meet someone, don't just let them run by. Talk to them and get involved. DayZ is a social game at heart. Weird for a PC Game I know but it is very social. Just yesterday I had to start fresh after being murdered by a bandit. Within 1 hr me and a guy I had met were being shot at from a roof by two bandits. He got taken as a hostage and I got away. It was very intense though. I have tons of stories like that.

No he wasn't bleeding. I guess I'll just chock it up to a glitch in the game. It sucks though because I was getting G'd up man! :( Bummer.....

So I was scavenging with my guy, eating and drinking when they turned red. All good food. The food I was eating was sardines but it was pristine and not rotten. All of a sudden my screen gradually started losing color. There was no sickness indication or anything like that. I took vitamins anyway just in case. My guy still kept losing color and eventually went unconscious. What gives? What happened to him?

Dude DayZ is awesome just the way it is. One of my firsts experiences in this game was I went into a night server and was walking around in the forest with my flashlight (a no no I learned now). It was like 3 or 4 guys (couldn't tell) but they started playing this REALLY creepy like devil, hell sounds music. I mean it was so creepy I was freaked out. I started shining my flashlight in every direction and eventually it hit one of them. He scared the crap out of me. Then I was moving it around more and the others were like running around near the trees and in and out of my flashlight beam. It was the most awesome setup by bandits I've ever seen. Long story short they killed me but it was an awesome experience. The game can be very rewarding when people play it like it was meant to be played. Stuff like that story I just told you sticks with me more than a game of Battlefield ever would. I told my wife about what those guys did to me. After they killed me I took my headset off and was freaked out. Op when that guy killed you why didn't you talk to him? Sometimes you can talk your way out of being murdered. DayZ is a very social game which is why so many people love it. Theres betrayal, luck, friendship, trust. All these human conditions exists in this game. You can't find that anywhere else in a game.
