We should be able to use knives to cut eye holes in the canvas bags to wear them on our heads if we want to. It's Hella Scary/Hilarious/Fun.

Animals are mostly found in the fields near the center of the map (Novy or Stary Sobor ish) and all around. There is a Herd of Cow South of Barezino and in the town south of Vybor. Bam All the meat you can want right there. The Deer and boar tend to be near Novy and Stary.

I read the first 3 pages and can see both sides to the debate about uncertainty of things rocket said. That being said I might be shot for saying this. I personally think that a character should be locked to a server and a server should have a percentage chance based on its set rarity to spawn. If the server allows for 4 helicopters (or their parts) then so be it. Kill the helicopter or dude with the part. Over time if owner doesn't play it degrades then eventually respawns when it does. But hey that's just me.

I wish I met more players that role play like this.

Yup I was going to say the taser make it very short range but knocks Zeds and players down fast. I don't know if it was mentioned but a real flare gun you can shoot in the air and hangs like a real one. It can give your location to friends and enemies alike.

I am DoctorWhy here and always in game. If I am by myself come say hi I'm playing my survivor man style. If I am in a group it's totally random. You could catch a bullet or end up travelling with us. I absolutely can't control my partner Danger Ranger. I'm usually on pimpsys loot mania, kilos wasteland, orcz or in hardcore dolina trading post.

I know how to cook with just the fire. I haven't been able to cook anything for quite some time. I've even left it for 20 minutes. well over the time it takes to cook any of the meat. I tried different ways just incase there is something in the code that may be the culprit or something can work. It seems as though it may be the temperature system since patch. Im right beside the fire and it still says I am cooling down. According to a video online the temperature before breaking was colder more to the west so I am even trying traveling east. No meat is cooking for me for some reason. :/ maybe it's just something buggy with this toon and maybe when I die it'll go back to normal...but...i can't hunt anymore *cry* I will do smaller trees if they're around where I need to warm up or cook. thanks for that tip!

I've been playing a slightly modified version like this since 0.48 when I am alone. When I am in my group we're out to make trouble LOL. It's near impossible right now COOKING IS BROKEN :( I've managed to get one batch of beef cooked but it's broken again. i've tried low pop, high pop, making the fire pit using sticks first vs cloth first. Batches of food over 40% under 40%. I'm going to be forced to eat food from a city or town. I've had this character since the wipe last week and doing pretty well. I think I found a spot on the map to call home base too (for now)!

When playing without my group (by myself) I've taken to a survivalist style of play. I get myself geared to a point I can hunt for my food and have a gun that can shoot long distances. I then traverse the map by forest instead of road and take my sweet time eyeing the town I want to pillage by far, ensuring there is no movement. Last night it took me a good 30 minutes to check out Novy Sobor but it was worth it. From one angle I saw somebody running through the long houses and as I circled around I watched another dude come in from the police building side. Keeping an eye out I watched as two strangers met and then one wandered off towards stary with all his new stuff he got from the corpse he left behind. Once I knew all was clear I swooped in got some food and ammo that was left and was free to hit the buildings I needed to keep stocked up. Moral of this and OPs stories I think is this is not cll of duty keep your eyes open and if you have extra pairs of eyes that can watch keep them far away so you don't look like a group.

Met up with a dude in Novy I had a mosin but no ammo. we struck up a convo. He asked me if I needed anything. I asked him if he had any extra mosin ammo. He dropped me 5. I only needed 1. I got his stuff. Give people food and water but NEVER give them ammo.

Seriously you got pissed that I blew you away. You're on a high pop in a military compound and you drank like 6 pops while I approached. You left the door open so you couldn't hear me come in. Drink in a safer spot bud. Another one bites the dust. P.s I love that doors make noise now.

I agree with this and add I find it hard to believe that burnt meat automatically makes you poisoned. I've eaten many a burnt burger, sausage, steak and have been totally fine afterwards.
