This game needs a hockey mask now. For serious. Chain saw, pink dress, kids backpack and a hockey mask. Fuck yeh!

Okay so I know that those of us that wore it on our heads were taking advantage of some bad programming, however in the context of DayZ I think that this fits perfectly. There is nothing scarier than a group of people running around with sacks on their heads. Now if it were to come as an official item of course you would need to craft it. With the burlap sack and the knife you should be able to cut holes in the mask to wear it. After that you should be able to paint it black or green or camo. I'm thinking that would be hella awesome no? Sneaking around at night while you're searching a police station that seems empty only to turn the corner and BAM scary fucking mask guy. I'd shit my pants. Just sayin

I don't think OP is complaining he got shot I think he's complaining about the lack of interaction in DayZ. Might be just me but I notice a heck of a lot less talking. I don't care if I am being shit talked at or trolled but at least say something. This isn't nor ever will be C.O.D. It's what's drawn me to the game. Even new spawns aren't interacting they're just running up and punching anything that moves like a really bad tyson.

^This here I liked it when I had to worry about rain and cold and HAD to light a fire to warm up. I don't need to right now and it takes so long to cook food when hunting that it's easier to run to a town and find cans right now.

Took me a week and a half of searching to find this complete outfit.

Depends on the newbies. I think if people realize that this isn't a run n gun game they'll stick with it or drop it anyway. I may be a "Bad guy" to run into in your travels but I at least maintain to try and talk to people (unless deliberately setting up an ambush or trap). I've found regardless of your intentions good or bad it's the player interaction that makes this game what it is. You may die a lot but it's worth it.

Even without cannibalism I think it should be lowered a bit anyway. I can cook a real steak in less time than it takes in the game lol. All kidding aside I find myself thinking it's quicker to go into any town. Experimental has it almost right but I think that's more a symptom attached to the loot bugs happening. The first few areas on the coast I explore are almost devoid of food but as you move inland you can get some, but you almost die far away. Picking for apples is a thing now :) On stable I'm still having no trouble getting to a good healthy state and maintaining it, even with the fountains out of commission. I Like what OP is thinking.

You should only be allowed to hide a body if you have a shovel and time. Otherwise it should hang there for the ten minutes (I know it's cant be perm). i agree with you here.

It's happening at a way more frequent rate. In a forest in butt fuck cheranus and all I could hear was the sound of combining rags, zombies, canteen drinking, eating and chewing. About 20 times a minute. It's beyond annoying now.
