Hello all Just had a random thought whilst doing an essay (yeah one of those moments) Would having a feature allowing you to play dead (ie looking like a corpse) be appealing for anyone? Ofc if someone finds a corpse that has pristine gear on it and hasn't been looted it might raise suspicion, but It could be a interesting feature. although one could just check your pulse to see if your dead or not. One would probs have to place sighting restriction while you play dead as well (ie no radar 3rd person looking about) Just wanted to hear peoples thoughts, not really a serious suggestion but just wanted to hear imput from others with more experience with the game.

I remember being on a 4 man server at the north west airfield, looted one prison then noticed zombies chasing something over the airstrip. I left the prison and camped a tree next to the prison, about 10 metres from the door. I wait for a few mins then lo and behold, the other 3 people on the server turn up as an heavily armed group. I had a clear shot on them as they messed about in front of the door. One even looked at me directly (I still wonder why I didn't shoot, I had the crosshairs on his gas masked face) they then went inside and I went to ground to ensure survival, my god I had such an adrenaline rush, I literally stayed prone for 5 mins before moving out, a true highlight for me.

Hey all Just wanted to share what seems to be an increasing issue I have found with M4s recently. Our group has been finding more and more of what seems to be bugged m4 ammo, which instead of being standard 30/60 rounds stored is anything up to the 100,000 mark. we have even seen some ammo numbers with letters in them which is really strange. From what we have tested they are simply not UI bugs but actually displaying the real amount of bullets, and if they are in a magazine you can literally just spray constantly. We have so far not worked out how to replicate the effect, only find it on looted dead bodies and thus not sure if they are simply hacked or it is some kind of bug. Also found a similar thing with the shotgun, killed a Bambi who had a shotgun with 62 rounds in the Speedloader, and upon looting and testing it you can simply keep shooting. anyone else encountered this?

Yeah just seen some other posts, so there essentially in circulation now? Even more reason to avoid electro

I made one of my mates fall out of a window when I tried to clean his wounds with alcohol (he thought I was force feeding) Shame it was on the top floor of a hotel in electro >:D

Typical Dayz: I find M4s in police stations and offices yet cannot find mags for my new 9mm pistol :(

Ok, Time for a little story and a penny for your thoughts. So, after a few hours of being on a full server near electro with friends (in other words playing death match with everyone else) we all eventually died and lost our gear. most of us left at that point, so I decided to go to electro sniper hill. I had died there earlier to a camping sniper, who I had almost killed by looting an m4 from 2 corpses at the sniper point but making the fatal mistake of not loading the damn magazine (it was fun having a clear shot at said sniper and trying to unload and instead just hearing click) this resulted in him trying to axe me for 2 Mins and failing while I tried to get the magazine still in the body. (cue benny hill theme on that) eventually he simply shot me with the damn Mosin and I elected to try again for revenge. This time I decide to be more cautious, I make my way all the way behind the electro hill and then crawl carefully towards the sniper zone to look for this sniper fiend. Before reaching the sniper point however I spot a chap in full military gear hiding behind a tree. I immediately hide behind a tree and observe him, thinking he is stalking the same Sniper or waiting for a victim. After 10 seconds I realise that he has no weapon out nor is moving at all, all he is doing is moving his head from left to right and he isn't even prone. It then strikes me that he may be afk or logging out. I approach careful and attempt to communicate. No response. So I then figure what the hell and proceed to punch him 40 times in the head to finally knock him out (I was a Bambi) and then take all his gear. Full ttsko military gear, Camo mosin with all the attachments and enough food to make me healthy. In other words full pristine gear. I ran inland laughing at my luck (and devouring the jealousy of my teammates who were not so lucky :D) But then I felt guilty. He cant of been logging off (as it took 30 seconds just to punch him unconscious let alone kill him) so what on earth was he doing. I concluded that he was either afk or a dupe. but regardless I feel guilty killing a guy who clearly spent a lot of time looting good gear. What do you guys think?

I've had this experience twice, one time shooting a guy looting Balota after stalking him for 10 mins, after popping him with the m4, surprise surprise reset. I checked the time:14:49 so not a scheduled reset. The other time was at electro, where a guy trying to flank us was flanked by me and killed in a firefight. 5 seconds later, server reset. I again checked the time: 15.37. Clearly admin abuse. really frustrating as they can simple erase mistakes they made or cheaply cop out of death.

Hello all So playing in the wonderful realm of day z, after chancing upon an afk with full military gear (after which 40 punches to the face took place and an exchange of gear) I then got involved into a brief firefight in which I was shot once in the chest via a Mosin shot (no bleeding, but ruined the ttsko jacket) since then my aim with the Mosin (with long range scope) has been very wonky, despite it being several days and having the healthy tag, as well as eating and drinking well. So my question is, is there any way to fix the aim issue? its nigh impossible for me to aim for long range sniping and apparently painkillers do not work :/ Any word on this would be appreciated, currently thinking the only way I can recover is to go back to the coast, have my mates kill me and respawn and reloot. *edit* just recalled that when I login in I make a groaning sound, suggest I am still wounded, any way to help this? Been getting frustrated at being kicked for no reason on these so called private or clan servers, we all know they exist to give clan members or people who own the server free loot, so why are they still up? are they not illegal in terms of use? considering they ruin the whole point of the game and should be easy to regulate I am confused as why there is no action. Just my 2 cents for the day.

Reminds me of when my team met a Bambi at Electro, I get sympathetic and give him food. He joins us for 5 mins, but then jumps us along with 2 buddies of his (it was a trap!) and kills one of our guys before we gun them down. Makes it very hard not to shoot anyone you do not know.

Where did you break your legs? I know a glitch on fire stations where if you sprint into the ladders on the tower you can break your legs. Really frustrating.

I've been banned and kicked off private servers (the ones people use for loot), not sure if you had joined one, although not likely seeing as you have been on the server regularly.
