    DayZ Humble Bundle

    I had this same problem after purchasing from Humble Bundle. I was able to fix by launching Arma II and Arma II Operation Arrowhead in steam prior to starting DayZ. I also ended up using DayZ Commander to patch, find servers, launch the game etc. Good luck.
